The moogle gives out a "set" of four cards that need to be distributed and then returned to the moogle for a prize. On the set's fourth return, you either receive the dream robe, or the dream robe + 1 if you already have the dream robe. Unless you track the cards yourself, the prize you get from the moogle seems pretty random since you won't know for certain how many times they have been returned to the moogle.

Something that worked for me was to find a person who fit the moogle's description, ask them to turn in the card, and then return it to me so that I know how many times it has landed in the moogle's hands. Do that three times, and then you're guaranteed that the fourth trade to the moogle would be a robe or robe + 1. The main drawback is that you hope the card's fourth turn seeks a job and level that you have. In order to receive the dream robe + 1, yes you have to be wearing the original dream robe.

Also, you may want to hold onto the fireworks if you are still looking for that dream hat + 1. There is a smilebringer in each nation, and by talking to him and handing out presents or fireworks to children, you may make enough children happy to receive a gift beneath your Mog House christmas tree (which you can by from some moogles in each nation)!

The Quest is relatively easy...all you have to do is get Cards that correspond with your job and
lvl range...then trade them to the MoogleThe amount of cards you trade in to the moogle per Vanadiel day is unlimited;but the cards you receive from the moogle is limited to one per Vanadiel day[rl hour],where as its the same thing except you trade it to someone that needs it!^^Just check the Spammed Shouts...you are bound to get your CardsAfter a few trades...mine was 4...you get a Dream Robe!(^ ^)
I heard that it's possible to get the Dream Robe+1;if so what stats that it give you and how do you get that one!?plz reply....Thx

I'm just hoping it's not a retarded Event!i wonder what SE is up to when they come with these things but if they kept it the same it wouldnt be so bad,as long as there's newer swag to go after along the the older stuff!making it so you waste half the event thinking how you do the event is retarded, keep it simple and fun!it's not as if we dont wait most of our hard earned time to party up,do quests, missions and such...i do have to say ppl dont like paying $12+ a month trying to figure out an event;i have seen ppl get discouraged from doing other events when it involves PCs to work together on quests....we're just too busy doin stuff and trying to be productive in the ever changing
VanaDiel world;SE plz dont waste our time...KEEP it SIMPLE and FUN!

I do remember that there was a event back then that capped ur character at lvl 1. The moogle will teleport u to some strange area with permanent invis. Then u have to go around that place and look for a ??? to retrieve smthing then head back town and exchange it with ur partner.

And i got teleported to Ifrit's Claudron.... WITHOUT a map T.T

myabe this yr would be smthing about the same?

That was Summerfest 2oo4. It warped you to a dungeon with a friend, and you had to find a special checkpoint to get an item, then gate glyph back home.

Yeah, that event was hella cool. I wish SE could come up with more interactive events like that. Except I think I heard that the people getting transported to Ifrit Cauldron were mining, and...

Yup. That was easily the most entertaining event I've done yet. Twinkling Treants might've been tied with it, but I was like level 13 or so at the time with no sub, so I wasn't really able to enjoy it. ><

So we DO need to deliver cards? Lame! Watch! It'll be like "Take this card to Norg without riding a choco and while at lv 5 with no sneak oils or prism powders or escorts....and no gear, while aggroing everything you can. But you must live!!!"

That would be a good way to test out the new MPK system that will be implimented right before the celebration!:)

Personally I think it'd be funny to see some random, naked character run up to you while you're in Ulegerand Range or somewhere of the like, toss you a greeting card, and then run away at high speed. I doubt (I could be wrong) that there'll be anything quite THAT nefarious about this. Heck, sometimes simply tracking down another adventurer is hard enough. I imagine one restriction could be that you can't talk to the person in question until you get there. Basically a temporary /blist which runs out when you get within range.

Anyway, this might be interesting.

wha?
Greeting card are for Playonline. What the hell are you talking about? People send them to friends you may not do it but other people like it. Anyways there is a Maitenance at the moment goes on until 3:00 PM EST 4:00 PM MST 5:00 PM CST 6:00 PM EST They are also update of the client software so I guess the December update is today so don't expect to get on today because of the heavy traffic :-/

Would be nice of SE to give us week notice on big updates...

You might want to read the first announcement explaining the christmas event. There is a mention that we will be delivering christmas card. It's not really that clear, but it looks like fun
