Zam's Most wanted: King Xorbb

Now, this is no mission for the faint of heart. We highly recommend reading the "Gorge of King Xorbb (Beholder's Maze)" zone entry as well as the bestiary link for Xorbb himself. There's a very good chance his henchman (Yymp the Infernal ;  Brahhm  ;  Spinflint ; Qlei ; and perhaps others) share his single rare cycle. I personally have killed every named in this zone over the years except for Qlei. The Blued Two-Handed Hammer quest* works (as of 2008) so if you actually get a King Xorbb and he drops the slime staff...

We also need [ed: got them now.] the faction hits for Lord Syrkl . Note that the evil eye that has no HP and poofs on one hit (casting a dot on you) is not a bug, it's a known part of the zone. Be aware as well that the "rumours of King Xorbb spawning at the altar" have no in the last decade verification. Understand that you are more likely to become allied with Clan Runneye trying this than to succeed in this mission. Have fun!
