Hair Style and Total Makeover Kits sneaked into the Guild Wars 2 gem store.

With Wintersday coming to Tyria in under 3 weeks, now would be a great time to get all gussied up. I guess ArenaNet thought the same, as this morning they sneaked in a couple new items to the gem store that give your character a makeover.

The first item is the Self-Style Hair Kit (250 Gems for 1). This item will allow a single character to modify their hair style, hair color, horns, and facial hair. The second item is the Total Makeover Kit (350 Gems for 1). In addition to the hair options available in the Hair Kit, the Total Makeover Kit allows you to change height, physique, skin color, markings, face, and even gender. What you won't be able to change with the kit is the Race or Profession of your character.

What is nice about both of these kits is that they are not consumed when first used. Instead the item is consumed when a new appearance is accepted. This means you will be able to open the kit and look at the options, then if you decide not to change anything you can close the kit without using it up.
