The only thing I'm a little preturbed by, I was in que for the entire event. I wasn't able to log onto Gnarlwood until 239pm server time so I missed it completely. Was it due to the free play weekend that my server was locked up the way it was? If so, then these events should not be done during free play weekends as those of us who pay got cheated in a way i feel....
Rift Podcast and The Sanctum Discuss World Event
Phases 2 and 3 of Rift's River of Souls world event quickly came and went on Saturday, leaving mixed reactions from players. Our friends at the Rift Podcast and GameBreaker.TV have shared their thoughts on the event, and they're definitely worth a listen.
In Rift Podcast #39, hosts Arithion and Shyntyrr talk with Senior Community Manager Cindy "Abigale" Bowens and Assistant Community Manager James "Elrar" Nichols about the event, as well as potential Update 1.2 changes. Bowens said that the final phases of the event "were probably shorter than most of us expected" and emphasized that player feedback will be taken into consideration for future events.
As for The Sanctum #15, hosts Gary Gannon, Jasmine Hruschak and Josh "Lore" Allen don't pull any punches as they discuss their disappointment with phases 2 and 3. Check out the episode below for their comments.
