ZAM Database Launched, Soul Builder Bugs Fumigated
We've made several major updates to our Rift Soul Tree Calculator and we've launched our databases for Rift's achievements and abilities!
Here at ZAM, we hope everyone is enjoying (or has already enjoyed) the first few hours of Beta 5! We couldn't believe how many people we saw in the newbie areas that we visited around Telara. Pretty impressive, Riftlings, and we hope that we can see you all in game shortly. It's been a crazy couple days, but we just wanted to let you know that we've made several major updates to our soul builder and we've launched our databases for Rift's achievements and abilities! Feel free to read the the descriptions of our new databases and the updates to the ZAM Soul Calculator after the jump!
Starting with the databases, you can now navigate and browse through all of the game's 1,284 different abilities and 523 different achievements. Check out the list, do your research, and start your achievement planning for launch today... because now you can! Oh - I almost forgot. You may notice some "interesting" soul icons when you're browsing; those are some special "Easter Eggs" that we included as placeholders for the time being. Have a good laugh, and bonus points to the folks that identify the individual in that picture!
On the soul calculator, we've spent the weekend and the early part of this week fumigating some bugs, and folks should now have a much easier time navigating to linked builds. You should no longer be receiving the "0 point" bug that was in calculator over the weekend, which caused some folks to see no points selected in a build when they clicked on a build link. Some additional bug fixes also went in, so in general people should have a much more pleasant time with the calculator.
