This guy-gal in a MA prison was diagnosed with gender-identity disorder. The prison agreed to pay for a ***-change operation. The prison has also been springing for electrolysis, because I guess being hairless is necessary to be an gurl. STORY

Which leads me to my next question...

How does one sign up for government funded electrolysis and does waxing cost extra?

Is there an Obama-shaver option?

You just have to crack open the Obamaphone, pare down the wire tips, and jam the wire contacts into the follicles and youve got a government subsidized thermolysis machine. Just don't drop it in the shower.

So we have a psychiatrist testifying in court that hair-removal treatments aren't medically necessary in this particular case? Smiley: confused

I don't even know where to start with that one... Smiley: facepalm

They tell me hair removal is a 'choice'. But is it, is it really a choice? I think not.

God, I'm having such a hard time focusing on my work today.

Rather a sensitive topic for me, as I could have easily been the wife, if I hadn't gotten out of my marriage when I did. My ex was very jealous of the fact that I was female and they weren't, so verbally abused me. I was lucky to leave before the violence got physical, as she had started to break things regularly that were mine. The last fight he broke his thumb hitting the wall instead of me.

Notice the change in pronouns I use to speak of them. They had just enough sense to stay out of jail, but then we both were involve in Transgender Right movement and knew the conditions trans people face in jail.

As to the op, I'm against the state paying for cosmetic treatment for TG's. Make them work for it, My ex can't get surgery because the refuse to work as long as they owe me back child support, so their five o'clock shadow is rather noticeable.

I wish I could get someone to pay for my more and more noticeable mustache to get removed. Anyway, if we recognize gender identity disorder as a thing (and I do) - It makes sense to support the treatments that are needed to help someone realign...

That said, one doesn't need to be hairless to be a woman... god knows I am proof of that.

I'm sorry guys, call me old fashioned if you must.
Life > any TG issues. There is just no way you can throw the life that is gone aside.
If he wants gender reassignment, let him save his money and buy what he wants -OR- maybe don't kill people so he can actually make enough money in this lifetime to afford it. Oh, that causes him pain? Tough ********* killer.
My previous post didn't need fixed, but thanks for valiant effort.

Expect no gender identity sensitivity or compassion from me for any murderer.

If he's dumb, what does that make you? He wasn't correcting grammar - he was attacking the transgender nature of the issue with humor.

You obviously don't get what's going on. Doesn't surprise me since it didn't involve you in the first place.

The 'ole "I struck a nerve" response.. Seriously, you should try harder than that. I just enjoyed pointing out how your tactic is the least bit efficacious.

You have completely missed the point on this one.

Even though you have caught me mixing up "your" and "you're", but in this instance, all I can really say is...

Ha Ha, You're dumb. Also, it has made an effect, so it is efficacious enough for me. I really don't care whether you think it is effective, it makes me laugh to point out your idiocy, so Smiley: tongue

(cause you made a stupid comment, and tried to act like you weren't dumb, which only makes everyone realize how dumb you really and truly are)

Oh really?!?! Haha. This is even better. You don't even realize the mistake you made. You really ARE dumb!Reread what I quoted and see if you can find it.

What stupid comment? I hope you're not referring to the A=B=C comment, because you will just further embarrass yourself. I know that you might think it's "effective", but to everyone else, it's callow and shows a lack of understanding of the concept at hand.
