I am gonna guess: Because it wouldn't have been as funny.

I have an idea for a new kind of banning. What happens is from the posters perspective nothing has changed, but for everyone else non of their posts show up at all. It would be hilarious.

I plan on making general and ambiguous replies to certain posters in choice threads just so that they're never quite certain if they're banned or not.

And what Alma most recently posted is once again, hugely flawed. I'd point them out specifically, but I feel they're just so obvious it doesn't even need to be said.

In other words, you have the tools, but fail to use them properly. A constant disappointment.

Allakhazam already has that implemented, you just need to turn it on.

Yes, Allegory is off in the logic department. Also, gbaji's posts are too short and Joph needs to lurk less.

I find it telling that Alma views those who disagree with him, and can articulate themselves, as "dangerous". Dangerous to his fragile, but heavily guarded ego, perhaps?

On some level, most conservatives consider new ideas (and the people who hold them) dangerous. How else would you explain the hysteria over any social change?

The hilarity in it all is the arguments they make are pretty much the same arguments they would have made against women's rights and freeing slaves and such.

People with new ideas aren't dangerous, they're looney.

#2476Almalieque, Posted: Mar 05 2012 at 11:38 AM, Rating: Sub-Default, (Expand Post) There you go again pretending that one political party behaves differently from another party. As an independent, it becomes more blatantly obvious that both main parties behave in similar ways. When other people begin to realize that, then maybe we can move away from this polarized system into something more effective.
