Phase 5 started the evening of 7/27/2011. All quests scale to the players level.
The Abyssal invasions have been defeated and the Runeguard has breached the doors of Hammerknell Fortress, and all Ascended are celebrating!
Bonus Chests will randomly spawn near Finius Wetstone, Roflo Glugshot and Volka Lightfoot. Looting this chest will give a soulbound artifact from the It's a Celebration collection. Anyone and everyone can click this chest, repeatedly, until it vanishes.
Guardians Only: Speak to the Herald of Heroes in Thedeor's Circle to be told of the heroic actions of Scotty Malm and the horrors that await inside the newly-opened Hammerknell Fortress.

All prior Treasure Cache quests are still in play.
Daily Quests
Except as noted, the Runeguard NPCs are located on Thontic Row (by the main bank in Sanctum) or in The Training Yard of Meridian.
Each daily in Phase 5 awards 40 Rune King's Seals.
Finius Wetstone - Bahralt Street (Sanctum) or Epoch Plaza (Meridian)
- A Splash of Vengeance - Use the Water Bladder on the Abyssal Prancers (1 point) and Violaters (3 points) until you have gained 55 points
- Do NOT kill the Soggy yellow mobs or you will fail and have to start over!
- Watch for the special prize chest! (not part of this quest)
- Ocean Friends - Use the Fisherman's Satchel to capture 7 Moonfin Leeches, Softshell Scuttlers and Brighttail Snappers
- Time to Serve - Dance with Volka Lightfoot
- Lighting the Sky - Use the Horn of Fire
- Meridian: ?
- Sanctum: On the west balcony of the 3rd floor of Sanctum of the Vigil
Roflo Glugshot - Thontic Row (Sanctum) or Epoch Plaza (Meridian)
- Legendary Libations - Drink 15 Pints of Dragon's Tears within the time limit
- The steins contain 3 pints, the bottles only 1. The uncommon chalice, Liquid Salvation, will remove the stacked Intoxication DOTs.

- Gateway to Hammerknell - Visit the open doors of Hammerknell Fortress in Moonshade Highlands
Be sure to talk to Whitarey and ask to be shown what happened when the door seal was breached!
There are three new merchants at the Runeguard camp outside Hammerknell. Each will offer you only items that you can use for your Calling.
- Ermolai Sumtol - Trades Dark Pulsing Crystals for Synergy Crystals
- Yolanda Vimmar - Trades Greater Marks of Ascension for Epic set pieces
- Brolic Nornhammer - Trades Epic set pieces plus Hexed equipment for Legendary set pieces
