Introduction
Ruled by kings of the House of Wrynn in the past and Highlord Bolvar Fordragon currently, Stormwind refers to the human kingdom located in Stormwind City, Eastern Kingdoms. An Alliance haven, Stormwind is the very last of the great human cities and the center of Alliance operations in Azeroth.
History
Stormwind has had a very tumultuous past. It was a stable city long before the Dark Portal opened and orcs ventured through. Once the orcs came through the Portal and organized, battle ensued, both devastating and horrific for the denizens of Stormwind. The survivors were forced to flee to Lordaeron in Tristfall Glaades for safety. Then, during the Second War, the Alliance took back the city of Stormwind, and most of Azeroth along with it. Now, Stormwind is the grandest Alliance city in Azeroth.
