When you Activate the Ancient Wardstone at Broken Toe you will notice a broadcast message that says "Defiant: Bahlmus of Shimmersand has arrived at Broken Toe and appears to be in need of assistance." Go to the bottom of the switchback to meet Bahlmus and acquire this quest as well as Protecting the Provisioner (29).

To complete this quest you need to get three items so he can repair Mob:Claptrap].

• Mithril Washer - in a Strongbox by the fireside of some Bandits, several of which are Named Mobs.
• Carmintium Belt - Destroy the level 28 Elite Lifter, Modified DX-27. Trigger the Damaged Capacitor to weaken him first!
• Elemoil - a bottle of Elemoil on the floor behind the bar in the building in Rock Ridge with the 3 Counselors
