He is surrounded by six squirrels, each named for one of the Dragons: Regulos, Crucia, Maelforge, Akylios, Laethys and Greenscale.

In talking to him, he refers to a time in the future you may return to him and receive an epic reward. This refers to the quest Divine Work, Divine Rewards, which is the final quest in The Saga of the Aelfwar.
