To what scale are the World of Warcraft miniatures designed?
All of our miniatures are designed on a 40mm scale, which is larger than other top collectible miniatures games. That means World of Warcraft miniatures can hold more detail and literally tower over the competition!
What factions and characters will I be able to play?
You can build parties from the Alliance, Horde, and Monster factions. You'll have access to iconic characters such as Warchief Thrall, High Priestess Tyrande Whisperwind, and Archmage Arugal, all brought to life in beautiful palm-size masterpieces.
What types of gameplay will World of Warcraft Minis offer?
The exciting game engine will allow for all the experiences that appeal to miniatures enthusiasts and World of Warcraft fans alike. You can assemble a party of anywhere from one to five characters, all drawn from the classes and races of the MMO. Once you've built your party, you can engage in one-on-one battles, or you can team up with friends for full-blown melees. You can customize your Action Bar with a wide variety of abilities from the MMO. The Raid on Onyxia Raid Set will also allow you to play solo or cooperatively against either a player-controlled Onyxia or an automated version of the black dragon.
What products are available?
You will be able to buy a two-player Starter Set and booster packs.
- Each booster pack will contain three random figures. All three figures will be from the same randomly selected faction (Alliance, Horde, or Monster).
- Starter Sets will contain four fixed miniatures (two Horde and two Alliance), six dice, character cards, customizable Action Bar cards, six UBase miniatures bases, one two-sided map, one rulebook, and a checklist of the miniatures in the Core Set.
What other products will be available for World of Warcraft Minis?
In December 2008, we will release a Deluxe Edition featuring everything two players need to play, including all-new maps and scenarios and randomized characters drawing from all three factions. We will also be launching a line of Raid Sets that will give you the chance to re-live exciting moments from the World of Warcraft MMO, including great-looking sculpts of the fearsome bosses!
Will any of the World of Warcraft Trading Card Game promotions be included in the Miniatures Game?
Players will receive a UDE Points card in each Minis booster pack. Much like the TCG's Crafting Redemption Program, each UDE Points card will represent a Trade Good usable to craft exclusive promos for both the Trading Card and Minis games. World of Warcraft TCG preview cards, including the popular Lootâ„¢ cards that allow you to cosmetically upgrade your online character, will also be randomly inserted into Miniatures booster packs. The Deluxe Edition, available in December, will contain a World of Warcraft TCG Lootâ„¢ card in every box!
How much will World of Warcraft Minis cost?
Starters are $24.99 MSRP, and booster packs are $14.99. The Deluxe Edition releasing in December will be available for $39.99.
When can I buy World of Warcraft Minis?
The Core Set Starters and boosters release on November 11, 2008. The Deluxe Edition will be available on December 9. You can order all of these right now on our website here.

How many minis are in the Core Set, and how many are from each faction? What are epics?
There are 66 minis in the Core Set: 22 Horde, 22 Alliance, and 22 Monster. Each of the factions comes with two epics, which are the big-name characters from the World of Warcraft MMO. Each booster contains two common minis and one rare. If you are lucky enough to find an epic mini, it replaces a common so you still get your rare!
I bought some boosters and there are card types not covered in the Starter Rulebook. Where do I find those rules?
