Premium Patching, Part 2

I've now uploaded an all-purpose patch to the server, for if you never updated to 1.2.4, and a Mac patch for all you Mac fans. Here's the page to get it! For those who are premium and still getting permission denied, if you're running a download manager it sometimes drops the referrer URL, so the request doesn't come from the premium user URL, and it's denied. Try to turn off your download manager and see if it works. If you can't get it to work still, send me a PM or post here. EDIT: Tried a new setup to fix people not having permission when they should

I must say this is quite a nice perk for premium users. You should add this to your advertised premium user features. It looks like you're working on getting as many of the patches as possible us/euro mac/pc etc seems like a great add on to the premium support.

Following the hoopla that blizzard spews about port openings in firewalls I was still getting 6-12Kbps using their horrible patch system. I'm already a premium member but I'd be willing to signup just to avoid the awful patch times with the default blizzard system. Do you plan to support future patches like this? If so I'll just wait until I see the update post here before messing with the blizzard default system. I was getting 300+Kbps on each of my pcs downloading here and you can do the math on how much faster it was.

Thank you for the great premium member service!

I have Internet Explorer and can't connect to the patch (I'm being denied)
If there is a download manager that's running that I'm not aware of, how do I turn it off?
Is there a default download manager for IE for XP?
I have IE 6 but I don't have SP2.
