I pay attention to 40K already 6 years, when I know news about <Eternal Crusade> is really very excited. Several of my colleagues and the company for the game have to upgrade their computer configuration, wanted to be the first time to participate in game testing. You know, relevant game Warhammer 40K has always been to the human perspective on the story, I hope in <Eternal Crusade> can experience an alien perspective.

A friend of mine got me into Dawn of War 2 back in the day, and on top of being a great game, I was immediately intrigued by the lore. I went back and played the previous DoW games, and played all the ones since. I never got into the tabletop board game (although I'm tempted to try Space Hulk) but I did get into the roleplaying systems in a huge way, buying all of the books for Dark Heresy, Rogue Trader, and Deathwatch (and some of Black Crusade). I've run a few games, but I'm such a fan of the lore that I mostly bought the books to read, and the art's great too.

So, I'm excited for Eternal Crusade because I'll jump at any chance I get to experience more 40K lore!

This is the only MMO that I have ever been excited about! I know almost every bit of lore; and own almost every book in the black library. I have been following this MMO since the rumor was first started! Many hours will be sacrificed to the Emperor to fulfill his crusade!

I can't wait to fly into battle at the head of the Eldar warhost as a Swooping Hawk.
Things are looking really good so far and the team behind the game definitely seem to be dedicated to the game and the community. Can't wait for it to come out
There is only war...

+++ TRANSMISSION BEGINS +++
+++ THERE IS ONLY THE EMPEROR, AND HE IS OUR SHIELD AND PROTECTOR +++

For a long time, I've been waiting for this.

I've played Warhammer 40,000 (the miniatures game) since first edition, and still have that old, tattered copy of Rogue Trader lovingly enshrined on my bookshelf. I've played every army that was and is, and still have miniatures for things like zoats and squats that have vanished into the depths of the Segmentum Obscurus never to be seen again. I've read the books and graphic novels, know the adventures of Eisenhorn, the Tanith First and Only, the Last Chancers, the Soul Drinkers and many more. I've played the computer games; Space Hulk (from the 1993 version to the current recent release), Chaos Gate, Final Liberation ("Commissar!"), Fire Warrior, the Dawn of War games, Space Marine, Squad Command for the DS.

And now, comes a chance to join in the Eternal Crusade. To take to the stars, bolter and chainsword in hand, chanting the litanies to the Emperor and protecting humanity from the xenos threat and the enemy within. How can I not answer the call? Emperor protect, for in the grim darkness of the future, there is only war.

I have been playing warhammer 40k games since fireworrier, and been loving them ever since, dawn ofnwar took up hours of my time as I would create my own scenarios. Unfortunately the warhammer 40k game never got the attention and numbers it diserved, espcially when it came to dawn of war two. Space marine brought some more numbers but was short lived with the fall of THQ. The bankrupcy also spelled the end of dark millennium, the game that all of the fans were looking for, an warhammer 40k MMO. with this wound still fresh, the whispers of eternal crusade started to spread, first on a forum based guild which I soon joined. The final announcement that I heard was from total biscuit, when I heard "warhammer 40k mmo" I first became incredibly excited, and after some research I found a video from cosmic engine who recently started his channel talking about the developer. As he pointed out, the games that behaviour have published are mobile games and such, so not the resume you would expect. But as information was released, our fears were soon removed. This game has been the dream for many for a very long time, and to have that dream so close and then filed from us nearly broke us, but now, there is one group, one company willing to fight for us, for our dream, I will support them as brothers in arms, AND WE SHALL BE VICTORIOUS!

I need this because I am the one....the ONLY Gretchin~lover! let my pointy nose lead the greentide to victory! Also Became a 40k fan when i was a young child and saw the boxes of the models ( didn't know they were not toys at the time lol) Though when I got older the RTS game "Dawn of war" was released....Thats what sealed the deal for me.

Though I been an Ork fan always...so edgy, and the gretchin...well you wont find a turret, killa-kan, or ammo box without finding one of us attached to it! lol.

Im still in the cautionary area with the game, devs are completely unfamiliar to everyone, though Ive personally got to participate in the world record event with the "Pikkosever" game engine. So I know they have solid tech behind them. And as long as I know that, Im in!

Also the guild Im in if I join the game is already quite large, they need a grot like me

Its (da lead belchas) =P

Warhammer 40K getting this for a mate
# Jun 24 2014 at 5:53 PM Rating: Decent
I Signed up for a mate since he doesn't know anything about this I just told him about EC and he is hiyped as **** but since he is living in a country that doesn't allow internet banking up(cards and such stuff) up to the point until you finish your military service and since he still didn't do it and will not be able to do it until he fixes things at home you know private things....

Anyway I wanted to get the game for him as a present for his birthday that's in a month I mean I know that he wants the game but has no means of getting in until he does his army since there will be no hard copies of it .

If I don't get it here doesn't mater since I'm just going to buy the standard game for him as a present but it's worth a try :)

The pack takes care of their own ;)
Anyway cheers for the chance

Best Regards
Sovano

Myself and the rest of Fenris Hjolda can't wait to finally get our claws on EC, too long have we went without rending our foes' limbs from their bodies.

Really excited to get my hands on Eternal Crusade!

At first I was bummed out when they canceled Dark Millennium Online, but Eternal Crusade looks and sounds like a much better fit for the 40k IP, of which I've been a fan of for almost 2 decades. I have a couple of friends who will join me on the crusade next year when the game launches. I'm really looking forward to seeing how they tie in the world into the canon and to see what all the interest in Arcona is all about!

The thing I'm most excited for is to see how the first campaign plays out and who comes out the victor. I for one plan on joining the Chaos Space Marines!

I've been into 40k since about '96. Play some TT Imperial Guard(before Astra), Space Wolves, Dark Eldar and Orks, even a little Black Templar before their codex.

I'm excited that the game is being grown responsibly but also with an eye to eventual grandeur. I'm hoping eventually players will be able to set up AI driven transports, call down artillery in many forms and air strikes including air 2 air strikes, call in reinforcements in the form of AI squads.

At launch I'm looking forward to smashing humies then outwitting monkeigh.

I jumped on the Eternal Crusade bandwagon and forums early on in October after first seeing the announcement for the game in June. I was hoping 40k would finally have a good multiplayer shooter and one that brought the full glory of 40k to the video games industry. Space Marine did well, but wasn't as all-encompassing as I wanted. The premise of EC sold me, and I just have to hope now that it fulfills its goals as that would be the best way for me to bring the rest of my friends into the 40k universe. ^_^

Once here, I started a guild for the comparatively unprepared Eldar faction, and after having met fans - now friends - from across the globe, I'm happy to say that I'm staying here so to never let them down.

Great game or bust, I'll be here. Here's hoping for the former!

I got into 40k when I was fairly young, and have always kept an eye on it as time goes by. I love the idea of a Warhammer 40k MMO, there are only two franchises where I would be tempted to pay a sub for and 40k is one of 'em.

I hope this game is successful, more good 40k games would never be a bad thing!
BECAUSE

I want to get one of these keys cause EC is a helluva Action MMORPG in 40K UNIVERSE! I don't need any other reasons to play.

Ah, Warhammer 40k. I always found the setting fascinating, the lore, the dark and gruesome, even hopeless setting where chaos' corruption lurks everywhere, thousands are sacrificed daily to the more dead than alife emperor just to keep the warp beacon lit...
I really hope the voice acting will be on the same level as the one in Dawn of War. It was just epic, showing the blind devotion and all :D

So long as the Chaos Space Marines are adequately represented in this game and it plays well I think I'll be happy. That and there needs to be Reaper Autocannons...

Story time...

Greetings humies, heretics, greenskinz and other creatures of upcoming merciless world of WH40kEC.
My journey through the endless war has begun many years ago. Back these days i have been staring for hours and hours at the battle pictures from my grown-up brothers, imagined, that someday i will rage into fury of war standing next to them. Time has been passing by and war has been changed too. The difference was impressive, while there was no more dark omen threating the world, new enemies appeared from grim and dark future of 40k, where i had finally started my own eternal crusade, protecting the weakness or struggling for my own interests. I havent met my battle brothers again, since they joined crusade in the name of final liberation.
My people was tore into shreds by these new enemies. But shortly after this bloody dawn of war the Age of reckoning has begun. I have made new battle brothers and have led them as their leader into battles, praying to Sigmar to save my warriors souls and heal their wounds. Our division was called Sons of Sigmar representing russian war forces.
Despite my battle brothers fought brave, the Sigmar has abandoned us on december 18th, 2013. Since that my soul is clouding with darkness and shadows and all is left to me is patiently, but motionlessly waiting till the day i can join crusade and lead my battle brothers again into eternal fight versus enemies of the Impreium

I'm excited for Eternal Crusade because I'm waiting for an MMO in WH40k Universe since the announcement of Dark Millenium and I'm a Fan of this Universe since more than 10 years now.
Looking forward the most of how the battles will be and playing a Blood Angels to slaughter some Xeno-Scum ;)
Why am I pumped?

'Cause I'm a) a fan of the 40k lore [TT is more expensive than balls] and b) I play a lot of planetside 2. EXE is looking to expand into different games and might have a EC branch officially open if interest is there.
Looking forward to read about Arkhona's background and what McNeill can cook up.
