The US and EU EverQuest 2 Servers came down on Tuesday, August 6 at 5:30am Pacific Time for an update. Guk, Everfrost, Butcherblock, Crushbone, Permafrost, and Oasis require additional downtime and are estimated to come back up around 8:30am Pacific Time. Patch notes are available after the jump.

CHARACTER ACHIEVEMENT TEMPLATES

• Basic Leveling Profiles now include Tradeskill Prestige points.
• Players can now purchase AA points as they are gained in ‘View’ mode, versus always having to build and commit a profile.

POPULATION / ZONE PROGRESSION
Arena of the Gods

• Spirits spawned during the Drinal encounter should now despawn when Drinal is defeated.

Fabled Scornfeather's Roost

• Fabled drops are much easier to get from Ibtinaya the Scorned.
• Various mobs now see stealth and invis in the zone including named NPCs.

The Fabled Clefts of Rujark

• Various mobs now see stealth and invis in the zone including named NPCs.

PLAYER HOUSING

• You may now pay upkeep when using the Portal to Housing Guild Hall amenity.

ITEMS

• You should no longer occasionally lose your mount buff when exiting combat in dungeons.
• Disruption skill has been added to the Necklace of Searing Radiance.
• The proc on the Ancient Orange Soulstone now has an internal cooldown of 5 seconds. The effect now has reduced effectiveness in PVP combat.

DUNGEON MAKER

• The 'Leave Dungeon' button will now properly port you out of a dungeon.

QUESTS

• Waves of Norrath: Quest will now more reliably update group members on stage completion.
• Waters of Norrath: If a mercenary performs the killing blow on the Portal of Fear, it will now update the quest appropriately.
• The angry water spirits in Waters of Norrath should now reset correctly if they are abandoned.
• Quests that update in Kunzar Jungle should now have ROIs.
• Rune Shimmerstar now updates "Unraveling the Bloodsaber Plots" for evil characters.

LIVE EVENTS
Tinkerfest

• The tinkered Taskmaster adds should be easier to separate from their leader.
• If you are in Klak'Anon: Redd's Request without the quest, The Reticent Tinkerer, you will now zone to Steamfont.
