A new month, a new year and a new line up hits for MLG's eSports programming. Beginning at 5pm Eastern today some outstanding Starcraft II, League of Legends and Call of Duty:Black Ops competitive play begins anew.

ScreenshotBeginning at 5pm Monday to Friday, SCII: Heart of the Swarm exhibition matches kick off followed by Rules of Engagement hosted by Axslav at 7pm.

At 7pm CoD: Black Ops is also available with the GameBattles Matches featured.

Then at 8pm League of Legends takes the spotlight as the MLG Prizefights continues with fresh contenders looking to knock the pro teams off their gold plated perches.

There's lots of action for you to sink your teeth into and, as usual, it will be wrapped in a particularly shiny bow due to the pheonomenal strides taken in shoutcasting and eSports coverage in general this past year.

It is quite remarkable how professional and popular eSports has become in such a short period of time.

Are you an avid eSports watcher? What is it that keeps you tuning in? The sheer entertainment of watching the best duke it out?

Or are you more interested in learning tips and tricks to improve your own skills?

Either way, you can check out MLG's complete schedule here and be sure to head over to LolKing for the very best in League of Legends tools and stats.
