League Of Legends World Championship Group A

A round up of the days action from Group A of the League Of Legends World Championship

Game Five - CLG Prime versus Azubu Frost
CLG take a great first blood as Cloudtemplar moves into the red jungle but finds a Hotshotgg, with the mundo slow the poison from Bigfatlip’s Cassiopeia is enough to take down Maokai and even force a flash into the baron camp in a fruitless escape plan.
Hotshotgg then replies with a fast gank onto Shy’s Jax in the top lane. With the double slow from both Olaf and Mundo, Jax has nowhere to run.
Both teams play a very aggressive game on the back of this.
With CLG taking a slight lead early on, Frost attempt to roam a lot more heavily to catch out stray champions and are very successful by taking the lead back off CLG by two at nine minutes.
Frost keeps this roaming tactic up, with lane swaps and a really aggressive baron fight at 15 minutes, CLG try to disrupt the baron kill but drop two champions for their efforts.
Frost take the commanding lead and a 10,000 gold lead at 20 minutes, with such a commanding lead CLG can’t take any objectives behind Frost’s forward line.
Frost timeout the second baron at 23 minutes and once again Hotshotgg tries to land the steal and once again CLG drop another champion along with a baron.
Frost then push towards the base of CLG, taking two turrets with inhibitors and three extra champion kills en-route.
Frost then take the 16,000 gold lead and complete map control.
A 26 minute push seals the deal as they move to take the top two remaining towers, CLG stage a defence on the top inhibitor turret but a well orchestrated fight from Frost makes short work of two CLG members.
With a five to three situation for Frost Shy, focuses down the towers and nexus while the remaining four members keep CLG in their fountain for the game.
