MvP (MLG vs Proleague) Day Four

A round up of all the Starcraft II action from the fourth day of competition

Series IV - Sase P vs Last T
Game  I
Sase begins his MvP run, representing Europe as Stephano’s replacement, against the Proleague’s Last on Entombed Valley.

Sase opens with his favourite aggressive play before warp gate in finished.
Getting two stalkers and a zealot to Last’s base, he is able to keep the command centre on the high ground and poke down the marines as they spawn.
Last eventually pushes him back when his marine count is substantial enough and is happy to sit on three command centres to gain a great economical lead.
Last takes a very greedy build, getting 1-1 before his starport is even finished and floats his command centre to his third at nine minutes.
Sase has a well placed observer in the main of Last seeing everything and responds by planting down an expansion and a templar archives as he is not going to be under any pressure soon.
Last tries to force some medivac pressure on Sase, but due to its massive timing delay Sase has high templars out that deflect the pressure very well with great feedbacks.
At 19 minutes, Sase drops two of Last’s mining expansions, for the cost of a few observers and backs back to the watch tower.
Last forces a fight on the watch tower and manages to kill all of Sase’s archons, high templars and colossus but is unable to capitalise as Sase’s reinforcements hold the line.
Sase then moves into mass immortal production, this usually isn’t favourable versus Terran, however Last is focusing heavily on marauders.
With a charge-zealot-immortal army, Sase is able to push through the front line of defences at 21 minutes and take the game from Last.

Game II
Sase takes the first game with an awesome ending, can he take his first set 2-0 on Ohana?

Sase opens with a one gate expansion with his trademark unit push before warpgate, while Last goes for a hellion marauder push.
Sase scouts both the hellion and marauder tech with his scouting units at the cost of one Zealot.
Sase underestimated the power of the push and loses his sentries and a stalker as he tried to defend before his second warp in.
Both players are then on an even footing as they take it into the mid game.
Neither attempt a major push until their third bases are established.
Sase takes zealot charge into archon as his initial tech tree path as Last takes the usually bio play for his composition.
Last attempts a large push at sixteen minutes with a large SCV train in the army, Sase is closed off by a landed factory and is forced into an awkward engagement.
Last backs into a corner and Sase is unable to get a good surround with his zealots and the marines tear through everything.
With Sase losing his third base and not being able to clear up the main attack as it moves into his natural he throw in the towel, GG.
