Legendary Beauty

ArenaNet blog shows off legendaries in Guild Wars 2 that do not disappoint.

In the latest Guild Wars 2 blog and TAD talk, Lead Designer Isaiah Cartwright talks about the legendaries available and how people will start seeing them appearing in game.

Not wanting to spoil -- it really is very easy to find the full recipes for the legendary weapons -- no great detail is given in how to get them, but we did get to see some of them in full, glorious motion.

They all look amazing, frankly, but the ultimate legendary weapon for GW2 in my sweaty palmed opinion is Eternity.

SPOILER: If you don't want to know how to make it,  jump past the first image below and ignore the text which immediately follows this sentence.

Ok, I warned you.

Here goes.

Eternity requires the full legendary Twilight, the legendary Sunrise, a Gift of Mastery and a Gift of Fortune.

Sunrise itself looks fantastic, but as you see in the video -- viewable in the link at the top of this story -- it looks utterly majestic in full, whirling flow.

And then the sun goes down and this happens:

Oh. My.

In my humble opinion, these are the most aesthetically jaw-dropping top end weapons I have seen in an MMO -- if you have seen better, I would genuinely like to know of them because they must be a bit tasty.

I want Twilight in a bad way. It's so good it actually makes me not cringe when I say the name -- damnable vampire, werewolf, zombie love-triangle rubbish. And yes, I meant to say zombie. -- Eternity is one of those fond dreams I hope to achieve before my eyes give out.

Which legendary would you like to get your hands on? Let us know below.
