All Servers Are Now Up and Running
UPDATE: Many servers are now back online around 9 a.m. PST.
SECOND UPDATE: Blizzard confirmed via the WoW launcher that as of 10 a.m. PST maintenance is complete and all servers are now available.
Wrath of the Lich King will be released at midnight, but players have had to be patient through an incredibly long amount of downtime for maintenance between yesterday and today.
Following yesterday's extended maintenance, many of you may have noticed certain PvP items were suddenly free or incredibly cheap. Well, it was a bug, plain and simple, and Blizzard took down all servers at 4 a.m. PST this morning to fix the issue. Blizzard poster Cinterome has confirmed any items purchased will be removed from your inventory, but any tokens or arena/honor points you spent on them will be refunded.
Today's maintenance was only supposed to take three hours, but according to the WoW launcher, they ran into some database issues which require additional downtime. They have no current ETA for completion.
You can keep checking the WoW launcher page for the latest server updates.
