WoW Blog - Oakenwrath : It happened in a hurry...

So i log on into World of Warcraft yesterday around 18:00 to get ready for the raid, starting at 18:30, and i notice that i am still in the guild. (If you recall, my Guildleader asked our warlocks if i should stay inside the guild or be kicked,
but it was late at night and i left teamspeak so i they weren´t able to tell me their decision.) So far so good.
Curious as i am, i ask our Guildleader about the outcome of their conversation, but he didn´t reply.
A few minutes later everyone gets a raidinvite for Sunwell, including me.

Suddenly one of the warlocks asks inside our "ingame warlock channel" why we are so many people inside that channel, so a quit /chatinfo 7 (where 7 is was the number of our channel) reveals a guy sitting in there.
After he was noticed, he told that he just transfered servers. So i do a quik /who name and he is not in the guild,
but someone must have told him the name of our warlockchannel, of course, who would have guessed, he is a warlock!

I decide to ask our Guildleader again about the outcome. He is standing outisde of the instance, since he is def-specced and not needed for the felmyst fight. He tells me that we would discuss that matter after the raid, but
i pushed him to talk to me now. So he began by telling me that "us" warlocks still weren´t green and still we were not talking to each other...hello? barely 12 hours ago we had that conversation and none of us was even online. Except that i asked in the warlockchannel which curse to apply to Felmyst, and guess what nobody replied...
I tell our GM that i tried to ask something, but didn´t geet a reply... You know what that dip replied?
There are always 2 people involved. WTF? i ask a question and don´t get an answer and it is my fault???

Of course i had alread spoken to that new warlock and asked if he would join the guild. Of course he would.
Making use of my fingers and taking advantage of many years of school I add up the warlocks + him and including me to a staggering 7 active warlocks...I knew i was out, actually i knew that when i left the Teamspeak after those damn cowards didn´t even have the guts to speak up infront of me the other night.

Did i mention i have a Plan B ? Of course i did, I already applied to another guild on another Server who are at the same progress state as us and they are in dire need of warlocks.

And now hold on to your panties, ladies and gents, thing are going fast from here.

I quickly talked to the new guils warlock-classleader and got the job. Logged onto my bankchars, sent me the stuff i needed, said nicely farewell to my old guild and wished them all the best, even though i could have thrown up all over them for wasting my time -> /gquit -> wow-europe.com -> account chartransfer and bye bye off i a am...

Logging on to the new server i changed my Nick from Pénelope to Voidnull, yeah sounds cool, huh?
After i got the guild invite i was really heartly welcome by my new guild and we immediatly had fun together...

*Timewarp*
So you maybe ask why i think they wasted my time? All other trials got equipment before me, they had a new shadowpriest who went from being crappy equipped to almost endgame-gear within those 3 IDs i raided with them, meaning that he was chosen to get the loot instead of me, at least 3 times...keep in mind he was trial as i was.

3 nights in a row i was on the bench, and they only invited me to do the trash with them, and than immediatly was replaced, once we got to the boss. So withing those 3 nights i sat on the bench for about 12 hours and was "allowed" to do about 40 minutes of trash...I feel abused. And i even think their decision was made a long time ago, but they just didn´t have the guts, or feel the need to tell me.

So a big fat F U to my old guild!

And that, my friends, is the very reason I do not raid.

I have to ask though, why Leatherworking? Alchemy I can sort of understand, but Leatherworking?

Also, no matter where you are there will always be people who just are closed to new ideas and suggestions claiming that "we have always done it this way". Sometimes there needs to be a fresh breathe of air to just show new thoughts, those that don't see this are really dooming themselves to stagnancy.

Still hope your new Guild appreciates your presence and are open minded to hear new thoughts, ideas and are able to hear some matter of factness which is often very refreshing.

So a person levelled Leatherworking all the way up for Drums of battle? Doesn't make sense really? I would think a caster would get more joy from say Enchanting or even perhaps Jewel Crafting as a Profession?

I am sure there are other classes who would create these and use within a group situation?

Still just overly curious here and would like to see what Oakenwrath could add for this?

Cheers

I also find it sad we're posting it as news, however, we'll soon (tm) be moving it out of the news area and onto it's own index. Or at least, it's being worked on!

If you'd like to submit what you consider "real news" or if you'd like to submit your own blog, feel free!!

I really thought this level of QQ was reserved for mages.

I find it rather sad that we consider this blubber blog as "news". There's enough crying in game. With the drauma you display in your posts, I'm suprised any guild on any server would have you.
Seriously?

Really, there is more than enough guild drama on WoW to fill most of the hard drives on the internet. Who the hell cares about yours? You haven't said anything that hasn't happened to thousands of others today. Your story is boring, stereotypical and hack. Quick your whining and crying and use your part of the web (why you would use your bit of the web to show everyone what a huge crybaby you are is beyond me) for something worth reading, something that helps rather than bores. Your old guild were a bunch of dinks, boo-hoo, who hasn't had a guild like that?

Also, de-equip that Riding Crop when you log on next xD

they´ve got dkp, yay me! and don´t worry i always include my armory in my profile.
As i mentioned before, and will tell you again, since you apparently are not very fast
at grasping things.
"I will tell people exactly what i think about them"
And what i think about you would probably get me a perma-ban here, thats not worth it.

If you have a toon on EU-Gorgonnash and have any friends in the "unleash" guild, you might want to /whisper them and point them here so they can read their new guildie's blog.
