Blizzard deals a blow to Gold Sellers.

Some of you might remember that Blizzard had started a law suit against a gold selling company a few months back.

Well, it would appear that Blizzard has won the lawsuit!

VirtuallyBlind.com has the entire story.

Google doesn't seem to pay any attention to the legality of the practices and/or product a site is trying to market.

Wonderful news. It's not a fair or acceptable practice. There are demographics that the game has to count on to operate properly and evenly across the voard. Obviously Blizzard handled the situation well but it still puts a curve on the game itself and can lessen the enjoyment of those that play the game for what it is. That and Im really tired of the group invites only to get yelled at about how to cheat my toons. Not impressed. Good Job Blizzard and congratulations!
Blacklisting Adsense @ VB
# Feb 03 2008 at 8:52 AM Rating: Decent
I just wanted to let you know that I'm fighting the good fight against the ads over at VB. It bugs me to no end that whenever I write about RMT and farmers, I get ads for them.

A guy at wowinsider pointed me to a RMT blacklist for adsense, which has helped a lot, though adsense limits you to 200 blocked sites, and believe it or not, there are too many. Amazing. Anyway, I'm swapping active in for inactive as I see them pop up.

I don't want to dump adsense entirely because though I'm hardly getting rich, it does pay my hosting fees. If anybody knows of a better solution, please do let me know.
Progress at least

It's good to see this sort of action taking place, regardless of it being able to set precedence or not. It reminds some of us that justice does in fact exist, and brings us somewhat closer to getting rid of real money trading form our valued MMOs.

Irony: On the right side of this site next to the story is a link to a gold-farming website from the Google search engine.
