NCSoft announced today that Infinite Odyssey is the next content expansion for Lineage II, which celebrates the 11th Anniversary of its North American launch next month. Planned to release this spring, Infinite Odyssey will add new hunting zones, a new raid boss and new skills.
The Carbine Studios team has been hard at work on getting new and interesting WildStar content out to its fans. Players on the Public Test Realm have already had the opportunity to test out some of the upcoming additions and features making their way to the game, but for those who haven't, the team is revealing a little of what current and returning players can expect to take part in.
The awakened evil known as "The Entity" plots to spread its terror throughout the universe in this upcoming WildStar update, "The Defile". Today Carbine Studios gives us more details on what players can come to expect from this upcoming content drop, as they battle against the Entity's forces of corruption.
Things aren't the brightest over at Carbine Studios, the developer for WildStar. The rumor going through the pipeline is that at least sixty employees have been cut from the development team, and it's not pretty. An unnamed source advised us that some employees that had been on staff for eight years have been cut, and not just in entry-level departments; the entire path team is no longer staffed and huge percentages of the art and design teams are gone.
Aion will be celebrating its 5th anniversary on September 22nd, and players can celebrate with events in-game as well as with a weekly Twitter giveaway!
The WildStar community was hit with a surprise yesterday when Carbine Studio's President, Jeremy Gaffney, announced that he was stepping down from his position. Citing health and family as part of his decision, he stated that he will be taking on a consulting role from now on with the company.

NCSoft has now released its latest free content expansion for Lineage II: Ertheia! This expansion brings together events more than ten years in the making, reuniting Einhasad's four original races as a result of a dimensional rift. These races will work together in hopes to put an end to Shilen, the Goddess of Destruction.
The next WildStar content drop is on the horizon and Carbine is looking to drop bombs–literally. Sabotage is the name of the next content drop, for a pretty good reason, as the update brings in the new PvP Battleground, Daggerstone Pass, that boasts enough explosives and fire power to send your enemies, or your own team, flying over the sunset in a blaze of glory.
