Announcing the March Version Update

 The March version update of Final Fantasy XI is slated to arrive on March 26th, and the content being brought is certain to excite adventurers! The brand new Vagary battle system is being implemented, allowing players to do battle with the dreaded Xol Triumvirate to obtain items for Empyrean armor reforging and crafting Superior 2 equipment! In addition, several new job adjustments, new Unity Concord Wanted battles, adjustments to Mog Gardens, and more, will be added!

Final Fantasy XI's Vana'diel Project

On May 19th, 2015, Square Enix held a special press conference unveiling the future of their long-running massively-multiplayer online role-playing game, Final Fantasy XI. Entering its fourteenth year of service, Final Fantasy XI has endured a number of difficulties along the way, and to herald the players both old and new who have enjoyed it for over a decade, Square Enix has announced the upcoming "Vana'diel Project". The "Vana'diel Project", a series of three new initiatives starting in May 2015, will expand the world of Vana'diel in new and exciting ways!

Final Fantasy XI Live Presentation Event

 Curious what the future holds for Final Fantasy XI? Wondering what the development team over at Square Enix have in store for the world of Vana'diel? Your chance to hear all the juicy details are soon on their way, for on Thursday, March 19th, Square Enix will be holding a special online press conference detailing future plans for the game!

The stream will be available in Japanese on the official Youtube channel starting at 12:00 am PDT, with English language digests for the stream to be available on the official forums.

Mog Garden Adjustments

 In the upcoming March version update of Final Fantasy XI, a number of new adjustments are scheduled for the Mog Garden system! Monster rearing will see adjustments to moods, with aura systems that determine overall contentment and mood, as well as preventing mood degradation when reaching high positive levels. In addition, more information of certain garden conditions will be displayed upon etnry, and changes will be made to gathering items from the various gathering points.

Alter Ego Adjustments

 Wishing you had the repertoire of your Alter Ego collection available to you in more places? Your wait will soon be over, for in the upcoming March version update of Final Fantasy XI, Square Enix will allow you to call out your favorite Trust Initiative companion in a number of new locations. Walk of Echoes areas, Unity Concord battles, and a number of Wings of the Goddess missions and hunts will soon offer Initiative support!

March 2015 Repeat Login Campaign!

 Get ready to rack up points for fabulous prizes again, for the return of the annual Repeat Login Campaign for Final Fantasy XI is about to arrive! Starting Tuesday, March 10 and running to Thursday, April 2nd, players can earn points daily for logging in, which they can exchange for unique rewards. In addition to old favorites, the brand new Leafkin Hat and Cipher: Mayakov prizes will also be available!

New Unity Wanted Battles

 In the upcoming March version update of Final Fantasy XI, several new Notorious Monsters for the Unity Concord battle system will be introduced to various areas of Vana'diel! In addition, adventurers will soon be able to warp directly to the location of these battlefields, and Alter Egos will be employable in situations when less than a full party is available!

Quadruple Campaign Extravaganza!

 On Friday, March 6th, four new campaigns for Final Fantasy XI will be arriving in Vana'diel! Whether you're taking advantage of the Double Experience and Capacity Points Campaign to grind out some much needed job points, or working on getting that shiny Walk of Echoes item during the Surge Walk Campaign, there's certain to be a campaign for you!

Vagary: All-new Battle Content

 In the upcoming March version update of Final Fantasy XI, a brand new battle system, Vagary, will be introduced. This new content will send adventurers deep into the mysterious Outer Ra'Kaznar to do battle with the three members of the Xol Triumvirate. Those that brave these new challenges will see various rewards including Empyrean armor reforging items, as well as synthesis items to make new item level 119 and Superior 2 equipment!

Job Adjustments

 In the upcoming March version update of Final Fantasy XI, several jobs are scheduled to see significant spell and ability adjustments and additions to beefen their battle prowess. A number of spells/abilities for Red Mage, Ninja, Dark Knight, Bard, Summoner, and Puppetmaster will see duration and/or potency improvements. In addition, Red Mage will be obtaining the new Ardor spell, and Summoner will be seeing new Bloodpacts for Diabolos, Fenrir, and Cait Sith!
