Alter Ego Adjustments

 In the upcoming May version update of Final Fantasy XI, several changes to the Trust Initiative system will be implemented. Among the changes planned will be adjusting enmity generation for various alter egos, the ability to call them into additional battlefields than they're presently able to, overall attribute increase, and changes to be made available upon progression through the upcoming Rhapsodies of Vana'diel content!

Rhapsodies of Vana'diel

 Last month, Square Enix announced the Vana'diel Project, a series of different projects focused around Final Fantasy XI. In the upcoming May version update, the first chapter of one of these projects, "Rhapsodies of Vana'diel" will be unveiled. This new story content, the final major content currently planned for the game, will connect the various missions and quests throughout FFXI's history together in an epic spanning the rest of this year!

Announcing the Goddess's Gala

 The thirteenth anniversary of Final Fantasy XI is rapidly approaching, and to celebrate this and the upcoming first chapter of the Rhapsodies of Vana'diel storyline, Square Enix has announced the arrival of the Goddess's Gala. This gala, celebratingthe adventurers who have stood with FFXI for all these years, will begin with two campaigns, a Return Home to Vana'diel Campaign starting on May 15th and running to May 25th, and a Discount Campaign running the entire month of May!

Campaigns Celebrating Rhapsodies of Vana'diel

 In celebration of the upcoming arrival of the first chapter of Rhapsodies of Vana'diel, a number of campaigns for Final Fantasy XI have been announced. For the first half of this campaign, running from April 27th through to May 11th, Nyzul Isle will yield new items from Notorious Monsters, and a number of Wings of the Goddess Campaign rewards will be boosted.

The second half, starting May 11th and ending on May 30th, will see a doubling of Unity Accolade gains as well as an increase in spoils earned from various Kindred Crest and High Kindred Crest battlefields upon victory!

During the course of both of these halves, players can also take advantage of the return of the Double Capacity & Experience Point Campaign and the Abyssea Campaign, all to help bolster character strength for the upcoming Rhapsodies of Vana'diel content!

Feast of Swords: Never a Dull Moment

 You'd think, after all this time, that those ever-adorable Moogles would have improved their security! Once again, the Far Eastern armor sets under the care of the MHMU have been pilfered by brigands, and it's up to you to take up your shinai to help recover them! From April 27th through to May 11th, the main areas between the three starting cities and Jeuno will be overrun with wayward armor, and it is up to you and your fellow adventurers to strike the armor down and tame it once more!

Announcing the April Login Campaign

 The April 2015 Login Campaign for Final Fantasy XI has been announced! Starting on Friday, April 10th through to Saturday, May 2nd, players can earn points for daily logins to be used for various prizes. In addition to the new Pupil attire and Cherry Tree furnishing, adventurers can bolster their Trust Initiative arsenal with the brand new cipher for the master of fashion, Brygid!

Freshly Picked Vana'diel 17 Digest Released!

 Today, Square Enix released the full digest of the Q&A regarding the upcoming "The Vana'diel Project" for Final Fantasy XI announced last month. FFXI's producer, Akihiko Matsui, goes through the intensive list of questions surrounding the various aspects of this upcoming project, addressing topics such as the discontinuing of support for the Xbox 360 and Playstation 2, the upcoming Rhapsodies of Vana'diel content, the iOS and Android games connected to FFXI, and much more!

Spring Alter Ego Extravaganza and Triple Campaign!

 Square Enix has announced the simultaneous arrivals of the Alter Ego Extravaganza and the Triple Campaign Frenzy for Final Fantasy XI!

 For the Alter Ego Extravaganza, players can pick up the brand-new Qultada, Adelheid Sturm, and Amchuchu Trust Initiative companions to aid them in battle, as well as gather last year's offerings if they missed the opportunity! This campaign will run from Thursday, April 2nd through to Thursday, April 30th!

 Running alongside the Extravaganza, Square Enix has the Double Capacity & Experience Point Campaign, Abyssea Campaign, and Skirmish Frenzy Campaigns running at full force! Whether you're needing to beef up the strength of your favorite job with more job points or wanting to improve your success in Skirmish, you have until April 16th to take advantage of these campaigns!

The Bastok Eggsperiment

The moogles over at the MHMU are hard at work preparing a treasure trove of eggs to be delivered to all adventurers ready to receive such an egg-cellent prize. The March Version Update Has Arrived!

 The March version update of Final Fantasy XI has arrived! Adventurers can expect to see the new Vagary battle system, new job adjustments, the ability to reforge Empyrean armor to item level 109 and 119 versions, new Mog Gardens adjustments, new Unity Concord Wanted battles, adjustments to the /lockstyle system, and much more!
