EQOA Update Notes for November 9, 2005

Update Headlines! ------------------ **Quest Adjustments** -Dynmath and his men may be a little harder to control, however, they are properly flagged as undead. -Stunted ghouls are now dropping the correct loot. -Some powerful vampires have evolved into superior vampires. -Adventurers of the 31st-40th season will be able to complete the quest stage requiring the correct totem, instead of two totems. -The researcher's assistants should be correctly stating what your reward is for completing the quest. -Gnomish researchers have moved on, and are no longer around to accept the zombie parts. -Although it's a bit unseasonal, we've left the Halloween festivities in for another week. Happy extended haunting! **Other Fixes** -Evil enchanters and good shadowknights should be able to swap their epic rewards freely now.

EQOA Update Tomorrow!

***Happy Halloween!*** -Seek out all your favorite costume merchants and trick or treaters from previous years. -Insanity has struck Norrath! Again! Adventurers of all ages should find the insane and track down the Regent of the Night… if they dare! -Brinalas is ready to send adventurers of all levels on a trick or treating adventure. -If costumes aren't your thing, see the Merchants in Blackwater and in Freeport to proudly display your Halloween colors. ***Dynmath's Plan B*** -Seek out Historian Tsali in starting cities if you are of the tenth season or below. -Historian Ilena in Blakedown or Muniel's Tea Garden is looking for certain artifacts. Adventurers of all different walks of life and experience levels will have to work together to solve this puzzle. ***Potion Merchants*** -The gnomish merchants in Anu Village have completed their shift and have returned to Klik`Anon. The merchants previously in Klik`Anon have left to take their place. -All merchant prices should now be correct.

Metreon's Walk of Games

EverQuest has been independently nominated for a star on the Sony Metreon's "Walk of Games." Now we need to pull together to make sure that we win, since we're up against some incredibly tough competition. The last day to vote is nearing and we are in a close race for first place! Vote from work, vote from home, vote from your web phone, have your friends and family vote, spam the message boards you frequent, stop random random folks in the street, etc. Set a reminder in your Outlook and do it once per day.

Update Headlines! ------------------- ***Opidopilus has returned! Head to the Shon To Monastary area and speak with him if you wish to return and reset your epic ability and item rewards. ***The gnomish researchers still find that they have a surplus of potions, so they'll be offering them to everyone. However, since you haven't done anything special for them, don't expect them to be cheap! ***The cloudy stone of Veeshan is now able to be traded.

EQOA Update Notes for 9/22/05

Update Headlines! ------------------ ***More epic-sode 3 adjustments: ***Quests: The Avatar of Hate and cronies will no longer interrupt your dialogue unless you're very, very slow. There is a clear path to the placese you need to visit for the level 23 quest. Just be careful if straying from that area! Shinlos' test of patience should be a bit more tolerable. Evil healers and good tanks should be able to find and defeat Synder, and continue their quest. ***Abilities: Alchemist: Severupidus' Cocktail of Torment and Severupidus' Cocktail of Death potions now have a range of 25. Shadowknight: Quil`Eyne's Cruel Embrace and Quil`Eyne's Unspeakable Hunger will now function as the quest described them. ***Items: Bard: All Bard tunics should have power removed and the same amount of hitpoints added as well as all negative effects removed. Druid, Enchanter, Magician, and Necromancer: some rewards have been adjusted to have more class appropriate stats. Ranger: Damage on the bow reward and the two rapiers was switched. ***Note: This is the first of a couple updates relating to epic-sode rewards, so stay tuned!

***Epic-sode 3 adjustments: Biddleby (the mushroom man) will now spawn more often. If you can catch someone who's responsible for putting him in his altered state, you'll probably see him sooner. Good melee and evil tanks should return to their quest givers for a hint if they're still unable to find what's terrorizing Tethelin. The ultimate summoning in the good caster and evil melee epic-sode will now fulfill its destiny and not get distracted.

At the end of this quest, you'll be able to choose from one of three abilities, one of three item rewards, and you'll be given a free class mastery and training point reset. Update Headlines!

New Storyline Content: ***Nalga has finally arrived at her destination, and if you happen upon this area at the right time, you’ll witness what transpires. ***Forkwatch has dispatched additional troops to all towns that have been plagued by zombies previously. The undead thread has been reduced. ***An unlikely alliance is forming under the radar of officials on the sides of good and evil. For more information, travel to the middle of Tunaria. ***Battles have broken out as the good people of Tunaria move beyond defending their homes and launch an offensive assault. Other changes: ***Calidux will now give evil casters a potion for their toxic siren gland instead of just rudely taking it and giving nothing in return. ***Disabled previous quests involving Nalga, Sekto, Ellidywn, Velida, Coercer Dal`Gima, and Felidor. They have moved on to other things at this time. ***Disabled previous forum quest (Zliten’s assistant and The Thing).

August 4th, 2005 ----------------- Update Headlines! ----------------- ***More Epic-sode 2 Improvements: Evil priests have been given a better hint as to where they need to search for the second soul. Good priests should notice the plagued drake appear more often. ***Other changes: Platinum ore chunks, split brown hides, and silk lined swatches are now stackable to 50. Halflings rejoice, the breastplate of the annointed is now able to be equipped by halfling plate wearing classes. The wizard Class Mastery ability Lightning Maelstrom (the upgrade to Lightning Column) now has a larger dexterity mod.
