And, as the frost approaches, they seek out special adventure from taskmasters who need extra assistance during this hectic period. "While the cold air does get a bit nippy, it warms your heart to spend time with family and friends. The gifts are nice to get too!" Greg Avery stated as he waited to hear news from a friend. This time of year always brings yummy food and drinks. Specialty cook, Chef Lukkif prepares to meet the demand of the season. "The demand for my specialty dishes is so high I can barely get them filled in time. I must have extra ingredients for my new stew and more! I don't even have enough supplies to fill my Applesauce Fruitcake orders." This season should prove to be livelier than the last. Update Headlines! ------------------- **Holiday Quest Adjustments** -Footman Noble should no longer take an extended vacation. He has been reprimanded for his actions. -Ghost of Present in Anu Village has also returned from a long winter's nap. -The tea leaves, cup, and spoon for Tiggy's holiday quest are now easier to find.

**Happy Holidays!** -Look for Siggy, Higgy, and Tiggy to help them spread a new holiday tradition. -Check your starting cities for information on a locked box that needs to be opened. -Merchants in Blackwater and Freeport will be happy to lend you some festive attire. -Tiny Snowmen explode from the gnomish weather controlling device to invade some cities. -If you can't find a tiny snowman, you can visit the snowball merchants as well. -See Chris, Josh Bearer, or Sir Ebon Mizer for more holiday fun! **Miscellaneous Adjustments** -Noroxus has lost his ability to heal every 15 minutes. -Dravite Mithril Robe and Handwraps now give lightning instead of poison resist, like the rest of the set. -Alchemists completing the level 17 side quest will no longer be able to get their reward more than once. -Fixed some item typos. -Fixed a few spots where monsters could be slain without attacking back. -Battered Elven Helm should now stack properly. -Due to exploitation of it's recast time, Run of the Stormlord now costs 1 CM point to purchase.

The holiday season is approaching! Citizens of Norrath will experience the joy of the holiday content in the next update. ***Miscellaenous Changes*** -Fixed an exploit with the auction system. -Fixed an issue with group experience being distributed incorrectly when using certain abilities.

**New Quests** -Chef Lukkif is looking for ingredients for his tasty new stew. Keep an eye out for him near high level hunting areas! **NPC Adjustments** -The hate radius on Goblin Soothsayers and Assassins has increased. -Melee damage for Soothsayers has increased slightly. -The hate radius for Animated Lava and Fire Basilisks has decreased. -Melee damage for the Animated Lava and Fire Basilisks has increased slightly. -Noroxus in Plane of Disease will completely heal himself after being in battle for a significant amount of time. -Lord Nagafen will grow tired of waiting for you after a while and disappear if left idle for too long. -Dukes of Darkness no longer can be hit with AoE abilities. **Misc. Changes** -In a future update, the shawl of the winter queen (Plane of Sky entry quest piece) will become no trade. If you wish to trade it to another adventurer, now is the time! -Improved the stats on the Mystical Ward of Anger and Resistance. -Calidux's Insatiable Hunger now affects enemies properly.
