It boggles the mind. A live action movie based on the childrens book "Where the Wild Things are."

Quote:
The seven creatures will be actors in up to nine-foot-tall suits made of foam, although it is expected that their faces will be computer-generated.

Nightmares abound Smiley: um

When I was young the PBS broadcasted opera was by far the most horrifying thing I had ever seen. I'm looking forward to seeing this movie.

OMG! In my mind I have already bought it on bluray. I still have my copy of the book from 30 years ago.

While it's still aimed at a "child's audience", I assume most of the interest in a film like this will come from adult's with children of their own that, they themselves, enjoyed the story when they were growing up. I don't quite think I would bring my 2.5 year old, but I certainly would be interested in seeing the movie simply because it was one of my favorite books when I was a child.

Besides, just cause they look a little scary at first glance...the story creates them into characters that children could/would associate to.
