Someone put up a plywood sign on my street that says "Slow down kids playing," so I've been doing 90. That should delay their merry making.

Really when you see kids running around playing you just have to join in, regardless if you're in a car or not. Just explain you were playing freeze tag, and that's the reason Susie isn't getting up off the concrete. Smiley: thumbsup

Someone put a sign like that on our street too, difference is it's an alleyway that you'd be lucky to do 10mph down it. Smiley: rolleyes More dangerous is the kids. Dozens of the little things racing on their bikes, playing baseball, and doing god only knows what. They're getting too organized for their own good frankly, and it's only a manner of time before we have a rebellion on our hands. Might need to get out the hose...

Where do you ever see kids playing outside anymore? If anything, you're a lot more likely to run over an autistic adult.

Lots of places? Maybe this is what I get for moving out to the "country"... Turns out the ipad doesn't burn that much energy, and loud bouncy things need to be kicked out of the house periodically for the benefit of everyone's sanity.

Finally a place to legally level up that 2-handed weapon skill.

Can we get a ruling on whether or not "spear" includes my Swiss pike?

What about spear-adjacent pole arms like a halberd?

How about guns that shoot swords?

It always seemed weird to me that you could open carry guns but not swords there. This will rectify that incongruity.

I'm pretty sure open carry negates most Sneak and Back Attacks.

Unless you max your bluff talents, I guess.

Nah, just run right at them. All their henchmen with machine guns will miss horribly as you take them out one by one, followed by an epic fight scene with the ringleader.

If only this law had been passed earlier, The Bride could have defended herself in that Texas chapel. Smiley: frown

It's Texas. That's probably the reason behind the legislation.

It's Texas, assuming reason is probably giving too much credit.

When in doubt, spray paint the whole horse pink.

I mean you gotta admire the extra work put into it. Most teens wouldn't have lifted a finger, yet this one went above and beyond while having only a vague idea what was going on. Next generation should be ready to fear their eventual Canadian overlords.

I have this feeling like something really ****** up is going to happen sometime fairly soon. My gut doesn't know the details, but it's troublesome to say the least. It's one of those things that are going to be all over the news but doesn't die off after a day or two simply because people have become desensitized. I feel like the bar will be raised (or perhaps lowered depending on how you look at it.)

Honestly now would be a good time to start drinking too much. That usually hurries along these kinds of catastrophes, and no one likes that feeling of awkward anticipation lingering more than necessary.

Took a half day and went to the zoo. Went early so the animals were actually moving and not set on fire and lazing about. Still felt like throwing the little one into the alligator enclosure.

And put video cameras everywhere. Nothing like falling into a pit and becoming the next internet sensation by flailing around wildly while an animal snacks on your leg.

Speaking of which, apparently Miley Cyrus now admits she felt sexualized by her onstage twerking thing a few years back. Which is surprising to everyone because we all assumed she would have figured that out years ago. Guess Disney Princesses do eventually grow up... Smiley: rolleyes

Yeah that got mentioned too. Basically the whole TL;DR is: "OMG I thought I was being empowered and liberated but it turns out the managers/producers/etc were just exploiting my body for money and egging me on, and I got talked into doing things I wasn't comfortable with. So buy my new record."

Pretty much the exact thing everyone told her was happening at the time, and would continue to happen, but that she brushed off and ignored. Smiley: oyvey

It's actually fake news that alligators are dangerous. Liberals elites are trying to shut down enterprising zoo privateers. They're quite gentle.

I blame the crocodiles.
