My father in law feels rather betrayed that Cain dropped out of the race. Now he's torn between hating Newt, who is Roman Catholic (and a bad one at that), and hating Romney, who is Mormon. Evangelicals can't get a break this election.
As it stands, the FIL is threatening to stay home and not vote at all during the primaries. As a form of protest. Or something.
Obama is a Democrat, and black, but at least he's not a Mary-worshipper or a... a... Mormon.
Edit: He also feels double betrayed because Nikki Haley, whom he had a crush on, endorsed Romney.
