Yeah, I'm pleased that a thread from 2007 stayed with someone's psyche that, eight years later, they'd come back to talk to me about it. I guarantee you that I have no clue what this guy was saying eight years ago.
My best guess is that it was something to do with the Armenian Genocide.
Had to do with Obama's promise to call the Armenian Genocide a genocide, which he broke and which Jophiel was savaging Bush about while expecting Obama to do so with stars in eyes. Or some kind of definitive election difference. If clue is sought, just click once to read and laugh at Jophiel's partisan and disingenuous OP. Which uses millions of victims for political points. Never a real principle behind it.
From Joph's first post: "
Bush has been asking the House not to pass the bill. Or for it to even come before the full House. Not because Bush disagrees with it but because he fears that Turkey will retaliate since the Turkish government is very opposed to being told by the US that it was, indeed, a genocide." And oh isn't Bush so bad that I need to create a thread about this!
Hell, Obama promised to not even need a bill requiring him to call it a genocide. He promised he would in plain speech. He LIED!!! Shame!
Where's the similar thread about this made by Jophiel? Oh wow, it doesn't exist, since it was only important when a GOP denied genocide. Armenian Genocide recognition--conveniently forgotten.

"President Obama's surrender to Turkey represents a national disgrace — it is, very simply, a betrayal of truth, a betrayal of trust," said Ken Hachikian, chairman of Armenian National Committee of America.
Sorry that my psyche includes many of my ancestors being massacred by Turks! How inconvenient to political narrative and promises and realpolitik. Let's not talk about this (well, until the next GOP president--then we can make a new thread about how he refuses to recognize the Genocide and be oh-so-caring-about-massacred-Armenians anew).
