I'm not sure how Gbaji's cutoff is nebulous. You may not agree with it, but he's been pretty clear about exactly where the cutoff is, and it's not in any way an invalid place to draw a line.

Are you in favor of outlawing fertility clinics? Because they destroy thousands of fertilized eggs every year.

I believe the argument was that "the cutoff" was nebulous, not that Gbaji's decision on where the cutoff should be is nebulous. But I didn't spend much time on the zygote part of the debate; mainly "worrying" (such as it is) about the legislative end.

It's arbitrary though. No one is confused about where he decided to draw the line, but why draw a line there and what is the basis for drawing a line at all?

We obviously have no qualms about killing single cells with human DNA, so it must be only the ones with the potential to become humans that matter, but that happens to include gametes as well.

what personal attack? I don't see one in that quote. I am quite sure Guenny is just stating you come in and beat your chest and spout off about a topic that primarily effects women. Not that it matters since this is the assylum and that type of talk gets a blind eye generally turned towards it. Unless I am mistaken on the page description. But I guess if you could read the context of things you read, you wouldn't complain as much as you do.

Men's life expectancies are shorter because

a) their brain structure inclines them to be greater risk takers in their early 20s
b) they have some weird bias against seeking medical help for small things, so are more likely to have serious medical conditions develop further before being caught, and thus a worse on average medical outcome.

No, because -- fair or unfair -- only the woman has to go through an invasive medical procedure in order to abort.

Now, if you're asking for the male to have the right to kill the new born infant because he doesn't want to pay child support, that's another question entirely.
