If there are no users logged into a forum, recent visitors shows up as ", Anonymous Guests (2)", where the comma should not be there.

I'll get that now.

Quotes are still not showing up properly in forum preview titles. From my post in the OOT thread:

Quotation marks don't seem to be showing up in the "Last Active Thread" section in forum indexes, such as the FFXI Job Forums. I've checked using other skins and it seems to be the same on all of them.

The last active thread in the DRK forum shows up as
Quote:
The "OFFICIAL" Dark Knight DING! Thread.

Also, as requested by a few people, forum list now alphabetized.

That's fine and dandy for the job and server forums, I can get used to that... but I think it's rather odd for "FFXI General" (=10) to show up at the bottom of the FFXI forum listing (instead of at the top) as a result of the same alphabetization. Anyone else think the same? >_>

Yeah. There's some others i'd rather see at the top too, such as this forum.

Page 2 (and possibly all others after one?) of bookmarks is counting wrong. It should say Viewing 50x+1 to y of y, but just says 50. Example.

You don't have permission to access /db/jobs.html on this server.
Apache/2.2.9 (Debian) mod_ssl/2.2.9 OpenSSL/0.9.8g Server at www.zam.com Port 80

Trying to access FFXI job forums. Zam skin, Firefox. Works on FFXI skin though.

Edit: Same problem with wow class forums, "You don't have permission to access /db/class.html on this server"

Same thing with FFXI races.

Temporary (maybe permanent if we decide it's the way to go,) fix in place for WoW Class, FFXI Race, and FFXI Job (i.e. those damned, dirty exceptions). I opted to just link to the forum properly rather than redirect you to another skin and the actual page related thereunto.

Didn't see it mentioned, but it seems to be Windows 7 related - I have no problems on my XP desktop, same issues on my 7 laptop. Had a friend with 2 OS try it and reported same thing.

Or they've fixed it between then and now. Smiley: tongue

It was happening on 4 different PCs, in different geographical places, including two that I had never ever logged into before -- so it definitely wasn't OS, cookie, or IP-cache related.

But yes, fixed now. Cheers Smiley: boozing

Edit: Strike that. Now I can see the forum index for those places, but the individual threads still return the same result. Smiley: laugh

Unlocking a thread, then replying to it points to ;mid=-1&post=1&replyto=x, causing it to create a new thread. Editing a post in a locked thread does the same thing, though editing it works fine, it just brings you back to the index after.

Also, is posting in locked threads in our journals going to be permanently disabled? Or is it just a temporary fix to posting in locked threads, until you can find a better one? Or did you forget to add an exception for us in our journals, when you added the you cannot post in locked threads message?

edit: Replying, then locking a thread before posting leads to an interesting error "An Error Happened, couldn't Insert. Please try again."

When I am not logged in and I attempt to reply to a post (as a way to get to the login page), it instead brings me to a blank page and stops loading.

I'm on Firefox 3.5.8, Windows XP Home.

Also, another issue I just noticed, I don't think the servers are handling Daylight Savings Time correctly. I'm set to the right time zone, but the post I just made was showing as being an hour behind.

I.e. this post was made at 11:18, but it's showing up as 10:18

Nevermind, I figured out what my problem was. I was logged in to allakhazam.com with the FFXI skin, but not zam.com with the FFXIV skin.

And then I realized, if I had read a little bit more, I would've seen that there are already threads for both of my problems. Whoops.

Just tried to rate someone from live view, and the post disappeared, and was replaced with " {"newmsgs":[]}". The rate still worked, and when i went to the thread, it had been edited, but not sure if that's relevant.

Rog got scholar. That has got to be a bug.

Well technically, it was caused by bugs. If it weren't for all the bugs here i reported, i never would have got it.

Mouseovers don't work properly with the #msg anchor. It seems they sometimes don't work at all, and other times show the first post of the thread.

Example

edit: Figured it out: they don't work at all in live view, and they show the first post of the thread from the thread.

Edit again: actually no mouseovers work in live view it seems.

Rating a post in live view, then trying to reply to it points to live.html?forum=x&mid=x.

Going to any public journal yields an Error 404 message; here is a sample link. To be exact, the 404 error message reads:

Quote:
404 File Not Found

The file you have requested does not exist, or cannot be found.

Happens on any browser I use whether or not I am signed onto my account.

Also, there's something I would like to mention to whichever admin responds to this, but I'm reluctant to say it on the forums, so please let me know if I can PM you about it.

What link did you click to get there? Change journal.html to forum.html as a workaround.

The one in particular was directly from my user profile, http://www.zam.com/users/Davejohnsan , but I'm also noticing it from the user dropdown menu on forum threads (which hopefully makes sense).
