Since your child may very well share my birthday, you should name him/her after me. Smiley: nod

Pfft, the kid's sure to get teased at school if he ends up with the name Poldaran...

Thats a hell of a decision! I am so happy for you, what island?
The Big Island (Hawaii). Hubby got a job there and so we said "Jed move away from there. Hawaii is the place you ought to be." It's been interesting. :)
I wonder if they drove there in an old truck with a rocking chair on it.

That's why it makes a great middle name. Middle names are supposed to be things you'll get teased about if anyone discovers your horrible secret.

Edit: Besides, Poldaran is a girl's name. For a boy, she could use my real first name. Though it will likely give her son issues about people mispronouncing and misspelling his name.

I can only remember one of your middle names, the others aren't very memorable.

Well, that could happen anywhere. But sharks at the public pool are the worst.

In a nutshell: Still married, still have the same mortgage, still have the same kids, still have the same pets, still have the same job. I live the life of a Desperate Housewife stuck in Groundhog Day.

That is one of my favourite movies ever, and I'm not ashamed to admit it.

So, no, I don't feel sorry for you at all! It sounds like you have a wonderful, wonderful life.

Quick rundown in the event that you missed the updates on the book of faces:

  • 6 months left in school. Need to get out of this place and find a job so I can afford to take classes to fill in the gaps that I know I have in my education so I can get a job doing what I like doing.
  • My Girlfriend is all sorts of wonderful and delightful.
  • Unibroue's Terrible is delicious. Finally starting to get an appreciation for Porters, starting with a local brewery, Georgetown, and their porter. Ninkasi's isn't half bad either.
  • Mom had a run in with Cancer last year. She's doing fine now though.

Edited because that list irritated me

Also, I think this is what Ari was trying to link. The other video starts off with Molotov and segues into this one. I've had this stuck in my head over the last week while my head is swimming/reeling from how awesome life is going right now.

Molotov by Seeed is too awesome to miss.
#43 Jun 20 2012 at 12:01 PM Rating: Good
I remember Seeed from like... early naughties MTV.

Some of the solo stuff Peter Fox did was awesome.

Plus, it's about my hometown. And favourite neighbourhood. I know all that stuff.

Hiya Belkira! The situation with my Pancreas is chronic, but the infection in my liver is gone and I have managed to stay out of the hospital for about 5 months now. Eating solid foods and not through and IV. Pretty exciting stuff there! I always pull through. I have a great support system! :)
And you in Hawaii! How awesome is that?!! BTW I am coming to visit :P

I now work across the street from the Capitol here in Madison. I bought a 2012 Elantra in January. Made new frens, gone to lots of concerts. Quit smoking 08/15/2011, almost a year. Working on my weight and exercising now. Good times. Probably going to start applying for jobs with USDA and CMS at some point in the next 12 months. Will likely relocate to San Fran, Boston, Chicago, Houston, Denver, Atlanta, or D.C. Quit FFXI for good in 04/2011. No more MMO's, Vita is hamazing. Super excited for Retro City Rampage, Watch Dogs, The Last of Us, and Ni No Kuni.

Oh, just celebrated my 30th birthday yesterday. Going for my first tattoo on July 2, "don't panic" all lowercase, unsure still on color/font. Right below the crook of my elbow on my right arm, going horizontal across. Easy to cover up.
