I say kangaroo, those bastards seem to be all "high and mighty" plus I know they work out in the gym with boxing gloves so well the meat may be a bit tough you just know it had to live a good lifestyle.

Consider this: Eating that ostrich would be like the ultimate accomplishment for your cat. You owe him this.

I know a guy who imports ostrich eggs.

I don't think I could get them to deliver to your location by lunch time :(

I fed him some Reindeer meat, and he loved it. I loved it too. I could probably eat a reindeer right now.

Inspired by this thread, I decided to splash out and try ostrich jalfrezi rather than my usual chicken jalfrezi at the Indian restaurant.

To be honest I expected it to be more interesting/unusual - I mean it was nicer than the usual chicken but not very special :(

I had ostrich before and remember it being rather beef-esque. This was some time ago though so who knows.

Yeah, I'd say somewhere between chicken and beef.

Haha, the worst is that after reading ugly's comment, I took a little sliver of the Ostrich meat, put it in some toilet paper, in my bag, and gave it to Ernesto when I got home. I felt very proud of him having eaten both Ostrich and Reindeer meat. I'm sure it makes him feel closer to his larger African cousins, somehow.

And yeah, Ostrich taste eerily similar to beef. I'm trying kangooroo next Friday, although I expect it to be a bit more chewy and elastic.

You're serious with this?! LOL I think it's much better if you go for vegetable sandwich more healthier than any other sandwiches. But if you really want to choose any of the two, I'll go for ostrich I think its less fat.
