Then coke would be more harmful than thought. You don't have cancer you just have doofus.

I don't drink a lot of soda, but only because I try not to have it in the apartment. I'll go through a 12-pack in about a day and a half, but I only buy soda every few weeks, so it averages out okay. When I do buy some I <3 ginger ale, but I'll drink just about anything that's fruit-flavored and fizzy. Root beer is only good if it's really good stuff, and I've never liked cola of any kind much.

What I drink most, going by the weekly shopping list: Water, whole milk (yes always whole), fruit juice (kiwi-raspberry or cranberry-grape or apple), orange juice (extra pulpy), soda.

I didn't read this thread but it isn't what I thought it was about. I'd put money on Ben or Mindel or BT also saying the same.

My sister had a 2-4 liter a day coke habit and her pancreas blew up. Smiley: frown She ended up in ICU for a week, with the highest recorded blood sugar the hospital had ever had on record. She's now on insulin for life, even though she's down to 120 lbs (around the BMI/weightish range that many diabetics can get off insulin and control it solely with diet/exercise.)

I still drink about 12 oz at a time, every other day or so, maximum. And it has to be real Coca Cola. Pepsi tastes like dirt to me. (The flavor from the coca leaves is also said to still containe trace amounts of cocaine, and I can tell the difference.)
