I'm a lvl 49 NE hunter, and I just found out about the virtues of King B. I know, I'm such a noob. Can anyone tell me if it's worth the time and effort to lvl him, or should I just learn Bite 6 for my gorilla?

You can purchase Cobra Reflexes from a trainer in patch 2.1 (coming very soon) and teach it to any pet. If you want a cat, sure why not, but if you just want the increased attack speed, just wait.

I'm talking about DPS at this point. King B is the only cat to come with claw 6. I guess what I should ask is if anyone has experience with King B and a gorilla with bite 6. Furthermore, can anyone tell me how long it would take to lvl King B, since I'm currently lvl 49. Thanks.

that's a good question. I'm tempted to logon the PTR and go see for myself tonight.

King B. Is not going to be nerfed. Instead, the passive ability "cobra reflexes" will be available for every pet to learn. If you are unaware, Cobra reflexes is the passive ability King B. has which gives him his 1.5 attack speed.
Point is, after the next patch, King B. will no longer be special. Choose the pet you like the best.

king B already has cobra reflexes ;)
