Honestly, I didn't really pay attention to how much I spent total. I've clocked an absurd number of overtime hours in the past two months, so I didn't care that much. If the game itself was selling at a price I found acceptable, and I wanted it with some immediacy, and it was a high cost:reward ratio, I grabbed it.

And because most of what I grabbed was $5 or less, I'm okay with that. The only things I bought above that were things at the high end of my wishlist.

I'm kind of disappointed right now. The Two Tribes humble bundle promised three 10% Toki Toki 2+ discount coupons on Toki Toki 2+'s release date. They never came. At the start of the Summer Sale, Toki Toki 2+ went on sale during a Flash Sale, and people complained in their forums that they didn't have their 10% coupon to use (Devs told them they could use them ontop of the sale price). So the Devs said they were extending the Flash Sale price for the whole Summer Sale (til 22nd). I, and many others, never received their coupons until the very moment that the summer sale ended. I logged in after work today and the three coupons were in my inventory.

You should have said something, I got one of those coupons from completing a badge before the sale started. Funny enough it says it was supposed to expire on the 11th.

The 11th, of 2014.

Ya, I could have got one from someone else, but it was just the principle of the thing. Steam being slow and all that...

For those of you wishing you picked up FF7 for 33% off during the sale, GMG still has it for 30% off, with the code GMG30-LY2G6-UKDYY

http://www.greenmangaming.com/hot-deals/

Edit:
But apparently not for much longer. 3pm UTC, July 23rd.

Bastion $2.24
Binding of Isaac $2.49
Portal 2 $4.99
FO:NV Ultimate $4.99
Terraria $2.49
The Swapper $7.49
Alan Wake $2.99
Gun Point $5.99
Strike Suit Zero $2.99
Just Cause ($.27, AMIRITE?)
Galactic Civilizations Complete $2.24
Fallout Collection $2.99

$42.16

Galactic, Fallout Collection, and Just Cause were pricing errors. I will probably never play Just Cause since I've played 2 quite a lot. I already have FO1 from GOG or GMG or whatever. I intend to play through one and two, maybe tactics. I really love the FO universe. I'm pretty happy with my haul. More games to the backlog.

Feel free to send me a friend invite @ Paskil.

Edit: I believe (not 100% sure) that I got every game for < $5.00.
Edit 2: NAWP. Two games over $5.00.

I forgot I bought Just Cause for the lulz. I'll never play it though. I've been on vacation the last few days with very minimal internet coverage aside from trips to coffee shops or McDonald's. Doesn't look like I missed much on the Steam front though. And the beach had been nice.

Or for SE to make a FFT game to challenge it.

I'll be happy with either.

ditto - I even bought xcom for my xbox when I already had it on my computer. I am now remembering it is on ipad. But I will have willpower.

As for what I picked up... Reus, Terraria, some other game which I've forgotten already, and Anno 2070

I went to buy the dragonborn DLC but it turned out I already owned it. I probably bought it when I was drunk at some point.

Are those actually worth it? I can't say I've ever heard any bad about them, but they just always seemed odd in the trailers.

They look like the Mana series games to me. I think I played a Ys game before, but it was on a Console. It sounds familiar, but I haven't bothered looking it up.

Truefax.

It's not even too lazy to run the games, it's not wanting to install them just to idle in them for cards.

I see some of the card prices have rebounded slightly since the sale ended. Sold a couple DmC cards for 85¢ each tonight.

Finally, I gave up on the last couple days of Steam crap repeat sales for this:

Well, Shadowrun Returns is out now. It's not pure fantasy, but might be something you'd be interested in. I don't know how good it is, but I assume it'll be on sale this winter. Smiley: lol

Is it? I thought that was coming out next month. I was interested, and reviews seem relatively favorable. Except for the IGN review, which gave it a 7.3, critiqued the length of the game, mentioned that the game was really designed to be expanded with community-designed content and then... didn't investigate what that was like. I mostly dismissed that review...
