Thank God...I was worried we would miss it this year. So, is it any good?

I tried to like it. I really did. It looks nice enough, but the stealth game play is not my thing and the story never really grabbed me. I got maybe 1/3 through before it went to the dustbin last summer. YMMV

Trying for a no-kill game was Dark Souls hard.

My Bethesda packs never got keys and were refunded days ago so it was no loss for me. I hadn't heard that they were revoking keys though.

Looking around, I don't see mention of anything that was activated on Steam being revoked, just that unused stuff was pulled. I never got the BL2 four packs, just the single key which I activated so I think I'm safe.

I just purchased it, cause it was cheap and... free hats!

The last few times it was on sale I thought about grabbing it, seems like an interesting concept.

Yeah I was just saying about the BL2 thing. I know you weren't able to snag one, I'm not sure about the Bethesda Key revocation thing just a few twitters' mentioned it. Possible rumor and nothing more. I may have jumped the gun, still sucks they gave you a refund and no keys.

Never played any of the DE games, so I picked up the collection for $11.24. For the past five hours or so it has said there is only 35/36/34/36 minuteshours left. Smiley: laugh

And Happy New Year all.

EDIT: minutes, hours, whatever . . .

Amazon's Editor Choice list is live. If you have the $5 promotional credits, you can start using them. Note that last year they rotated things in and out of sales and the coupons are good all month so I wouldn't use a coupon on a full price copy of Borderlands 2 or Guild Wars. Just wait and check for a sale throughout the month.

For things that are currently on a decent sale, you can get...

Hotline Miami for $2.50
Dark Souls for $12.99
Secret World for $12.99
Mass Effect Trilogy for $24.99
Mass Effect 3 for $9.99

Batman AC: GOTY for $7.48

It was $3.25 for a very short time but that was an obvious error.

Risen 2: Dark Waters is 75% off at $7.48 as well. $9.99 is the lowest price in the Steam Tracker sale history so that's a pretty sharp price if you're interested.

Use the IAMANELDERGEEK code for 5% off each. Makes them $7.10 a piece. Every bit helps, right?

Those weren't added yet when I posted. They're migrating more stuff onto the list.

The 2K bundles were great deals before and are Great+$5Greater now. I own anything I want from them though so no bundles for me.

Re-edited my Batman post above with accurate pricing now since it's still a pretty good deal for the GOTY edition.

Also, folks are saying they're still getting the 2012 bonuses when they register new The Secret World accounts today. Just FYI.

Interesting, it's not like.. an active game you have to play. You just setup a challenge with someone and the turns have no time limit, just end up being when ever the person gets around to it.

Yeah, it's an iPhone game that they ported to PC. If it was real time it would suck if the game was getting good and then your battery died.

I reviewed the Beta for it while working for ZAM. Almost certainly worth it for $10, if you like randomly generated dungeon-divers.
