Steam's lowest price to date was $33.49. Amazon had it for $20 as a boxed retail copy during the Thanksgiving holiday.

Broke the ice. Bit on State of Decay and Lifeline DLC. Mostly so I can BS about it at work with my buddy.

Bit tempted by Ryse. Anyone ever play it? It will most likely be under $5 by the time I get around to playing it... but.

It was buggy on XBone, so I don't know if they patched it up.

Shadow warrior for $3.99 is quite the steal. If you have not played it I found it surprisingly enjoyable when I played it last year.

Aquanox Pack (1+2) for 92% off ($0.64). Or 90% off ($0.79) if you want to pay with GMG credit.
http://www.greenmangaming.com/s/us/en/pc/games/action/aquanox-pack/

Not sure if it is any good, or even what type of game it is... but it was +2 games on Steam, and I had a couple bucks from Playfire rewards (randomly given when I played stuff).

Steam has How to Survive for cheap. I think the Storm-whatever pack is the best deal with more content DLC than the summer one. I'm on a tablet and accessing Steam is a pain so live with my vague description.

Also, Amazon has The Cursed Crusade for a buck which is apparently a Steam key.

I bit on the Saint's Row IV deal. $7.49 for the ultimate edition was too good to pass up. Especially since I used some funbux to buy it.

I forgot to check Steam today and almost missed that deal, which would have made me sad. Thanks for the heads up!

Michigan's passing a law requiring retailers to charge sales tax even if they don't have a physical presence Store, I guess.

Not sure when it would occur, or if it will be challenged as illegal (Congress, Interstate Commerce, I guess). Or if it will apply to digital goods (I haven't bothered reading into it in too much depth). But a 6% sales tax on Steam and Amazon will suck. Not sure what will happen with the various bundle sites, as many of them aren't US companies.

It affects companies with a physical presence (but not a storefront) in the state. Amazon has distribution centers in the state so they are hit but Steam wouldn't be. In the past, Amazon has responded by threatening to close their distribution center in whatever state was threatening to tax them.

I've heard in the past that Amazon was a supporter of taxing online retailers.

Good to know that Steam won't be taxed yet. Nintendo does, it is always disappointing when I purchase stuff on Nintendo's website. Pretty sure Sony didn't tax me the last time I bought something from PSN.

The state has a Use Law which requires items brought in from out of state to have their tax value levied. This is usually left to the user who, naturally, ignores it. Some companies may charge it as a matter of course, most use it as a competitive advantage.

Illinois started requiring people to report it but allows an assumed value of $250 which is a fraction of what the wife and I actually buy from out of state in a year. They're just happy to get the tax off the $250.

I understand the gist of the sales tax thing.

Will be disappointed when it eventually spreads to everything. I really don't see it ending any other way.

You can get Lara Croft and the Temple of Osiris (without the Season Pass) for $7.50 on GMG. And it qualifies you for some special, as of yet unknown (I think), gift to be distributed in the future.

Not as good as the 10 dollar mistake on GamersGate, but you didn't keep those anyway. I doubt the gift is going to be amazing, but we'll see.

Edit:
Got my gift. It's a copy of Sanctum. I already own it...

Yes, because it would be in their interest to do so.

I have a key, (if I can remember how to find it), for a EVE Online starter pack. Only good if you do not already have a paid account. I bought it mainly because there were 4 add-on packs with it, and I wanted those. I have no use for it. First to PM gets it.

Bundle Stars gave me a free copy of some Penguin game.
http://store.steampowered.com/app/11280/

Just randomly, emailed me the Key for being a customer. So you guys might want to check your Bundle Stars email account.

Free game is free, regardless of what it actually is.

Also, GMG gave me a copy of Sanctum. If anyone is interested, just post here or PM me.

Supposedly Borderlands PreSequel is 61% off at GMG (50% off plus 22% voucher). But the link on their website is broken and the 24 hour deal page lists it as full price...

I guess just the link on the sales page is broken. Full link still works:
http://www.greenmangaming.com/s/us/en/pc/games/shooter/borderlands-pre-sequel/

The email says the 22% voucher is a "personal voucher" Not sure if the 20% winter one stacks.

I was excited because I saw an email from GameAgent that they were having a sale on the LEGO Star Wars games.

But then I checked it and it was Mac-Only, Non-Steam. Very disappointing.

I can only hope that now that Disney has embraced Steam that they may offer the other Non-WB LEGO games on sale sometime soon. They did a slight sale with the PotC version on the day they celebrated it.

Their BioShock sale was good, but I didn't post it here since I think everyone has it already.
