They could name it Spongeblob Amorphouspants.

And as long as we're talking "OP-as-@#%^", how about this:

Numinous Navi: (Pixie)
Ready could use Cure 5.
If you die, would not depop. Sticks around and raises you.

We will be implementing this!

Honestly my main issue right now is just the long cast time and high MP cost of geocolure spells (luopans). I would not be bothered that much having to dispel them and summon them again if the party moves, but the fact that it takes so long and takes a huge amount of MP for the debuffs makes usage of the job very difficult in events where parties move around a lot

Geo-spell casting times are currently being looked into. While it won't be through a fast cast job trait, spell casting time will be reduced further through abilities, gear, or other methods.

Since Geo-spells consume a lot of MP, we will be be easing up on the HP loss for luopons, and making it possible for the user to give it HP. We'll also be making it possible to reduce the cool downs on Life Cycle and Lasting Emanation via merit points. Also, we're enhancing the conserve MP trait to increase the frequency it activates.

Greetings geomancers!

To get a little more specific and build on what Okipuit mentioned previously, in the next version update we will be performing the below adjustments to geomancer in addition to adding a merit point category.

• Shortening of the casting time for geomancy spells (indi and geo)
• Addition of the job trait “Clear Mind”
• Addition of the job trait “Max MP Boost”
• Adjustment to the level in which the “Conserve MP” job trait is learned
• Addition of the spells “Sleep” and “Sleep II”
*To go along with the addition of Sleep and Sleep II enfeebling skill will also be added.

Stop the ******* press! **** just got interesting.

I wonder what the cap will be? Keeping in mind that if they have native enfeebling, and one high enough to land Sleep/Sleep II, it makes them a viable crowd controller. I like, I like... Looks like I break out GEO and get it to 99 after all.

Greetings summoners,

The development team has not forgotten about the implementation of Cait Sith and Atomos as new avatars; however, when it comes to job related content they are currently prioritizing adjustments and merit point categories for geomancer and rune fencer, as well as the new special abilities.
(They are prioritizing the new special abilities because they are being added to all jobs.)

With that said however, we are planning to implement Cait Sith and Atomos at the same time.

We mentioned this previously, but Caith Sith will be a type of avatar that will fight alongside you, while Atomos will be a special type of avatar similar to Odin and Alexander.

Once we have some new information to share on the status of these two new avatars we will be sure to let you all know!

Just as another tiny bit of information related to the upcoming geomancer adjustments; the enfeebling magic skill that will be added to geomancer will be the same rank as that of a black mage.

Also, the recast timer reductions for abilities that affect luopons will be located in the group 1 merit point category.

Enfeebling Magic C+

VERY interesting indeed...... I wish I wasn't working this weekend or I'd sink in another couple days leveling to get it to 99...

Geomancer and Rune Fencer Artifact Equipment

As we mentioned previously, artifact armor for both geomancer and rune fencer will be implemented during the next version update.

The plan is to release this new equipment for level 99 and I would like to explain why the development team decided to do this.

First, one reason is that Adoulin content is for level 99+ and as such the monsters in those areas are extremely high level, and trying to acquire level 50-60 gear in these areas just doesn't make sense.

The other major reason is that most of you are looking forward to wearing these new artifact armors to do battle with the monsters that lurk in Adoulin areas, so the development team made the decision to implement them at the proper level in which they can be used.

Item-level wise we are planning for these to be at least level 105, but as it is still in development, it may change.

With that said, the quest difficulty will match the item-level, so you might feel a bit nostalgic having to organize parties to hunt down this gear, much like you all had to do back in the day for your first artifact sets.

Camate wrote:

Greetings,

There has been a variety of feedback both for and against these changes, especially in regards to how it will affect those that dual wield and use hand-to-hand weapons. The development team's goal is to make adjustments so that there is balance between two-handed weapons and one-handed weapons.

In regards to hand-to-hand weapons, we'd like to go about these adjustments carefully or else there may be too big of a jump in power, so we will be making some slight adjustments during the next Test Server update. The 75% STR modifier that is currently only applied to the right hand will be slightly reduced to 62.5% and we will be applying it to both hands. (The 75% DEX modifier for both hands will not change.)

We'll continue to update you on any planned changes!

@#%^ing SE...

I agree. I left RUN at 50 just so I could look forward to leveling into it. I'm really hating this "level to 99, then do stuff" that SE has going on lately. I want to enjoy the journey to the top, not ignore everything that happens levels 1-98.

This expansion is the first time since I've started playing the game that I've thought about quitting. As it is, I try to pretend it doesn't exist, but that doesn't work to well when I can't find people willing to do stuff that isn't delve.

For me, I don't care about leveling into gear or what not, my RUN is already 99. To me, the idea that we're going to need a party to do our AF is retarded. AF should have been, and should still be, a solo affair since only the one person will eventually benefit from it. I know that at first I'll have plenty of company for my AF fights, but I am thinking of those down the road.

Now that I think about it, RUN and GEO AF are either going to be extremely broken or worthless. If they are better than the current top armor available, great. If they are worse, good luck getting any help. I remember the tough times I had getting assistance for the BLU headpiece. Most responses were that that fight sucks and anybody who had done it once didn't want to do it again.

I keep trying to like this expansion... but as the thread I just made shows, SE has designed it terribly poorly. It just isn't fun running around in circles by yourself looking for a way through some dumb roots.

The larger problem is that this expansion has no roadmap. It's just tossing out uber gear, making an arbitrary progress path that can easily be skipped for the most part if you have the right people. I mean hell, look at me. I am a filthy "casual" at this point, running about in Empy+1 for the most part, don't have access to Wildkeeper's, almost no Bayld, never done Skirmish, and I am 1/6 on my clears for a Delve weapon.

That makes ***************** no sense. That'd be like someone not completed on the Zilart missions up to Sky access running about with Z Mitts...
