A lot of my LS mates / Leaders are on that list, oh boy.

You kind of have to wonder however, I mean doing this really places a large target on Taj. I mean sure he is good, but you know there is always someone better just like anything else.

I guess the next few weeks will be interesting to watch what unfolds.

It's not fake. Me and my friend checked the ffxi-app forums and found a topic discussing it saying "How did they get that list" and a mod locking the topic saying it's being looked into. The topic is deleted now but I saved it to my Harddrive. They aren't going to cover this one up.

taja is ******* retarded, no one cares who has paided for app.. Hell i havn't used mine in about a year.

But that is a list of the players names that has bought the app from here He prob just exploited a bug in the Board system. Yep my real accounts are listed in that. Not that it proves nothing but he has no ******* life and prob the worlds smallest ****.

As far as them asking for **** like legal intervention against Taj in this matter, I doubt they'd have the balls to do it, since you're looking at ~$80,000 of untaxed income...if the FFXIApp were to be sold at 20 a copy.

Sure, the FBI will start their investigation on Taj, right after the IRS deal with their "miscellaneous" income.

Anyway, this list won't really change anything in the long run. STF can't take actions with this, and I doubt people are oblivious to half the name there.

But it does surprise you on some of the hypocrisy of people claiming that they don't use hacks, or their LS doesn't use hack.

If you have any significant time in this game, it is inevitable that many you call friends bot and/or buy gil. And the more largess they throw around, earning your gratitude and your appreciation for their generosity, the more likely it is.

This is the reality: the idea that networked-based games give people a chance to 'really know each other' without the divisive aspects of real-world knowledge is ********* It's nearly impossible to really know people you haven't met. Even in RL, people often misjudge others, but without the cues that we get from visual information, facial expression, vocal tone, and personal demeanour, you really have almost nothing to go on. There is only one person I have met in this game in game who I have not met in real life in whom I have any real trust - he's my LS leader, and at least we have spoken on the phone. Otherwise, virtual friendships are just that: virtual. And you're a fool if you too much stock in them.

Dedication to this game does not inspire confidence in people's character for me, either. It suggests, perhaps, a lack of other healthy priorities. That some one derives most of their self-esteem from in-game accomplishments (or the impression of them) might make them more likely to cheat, particularly for something like getting claim (since they could still talk themselves into believe that they still "deserve" whatever they get when they beat the NM.) I trust casual players more.

The smart people didn't buy their app.

Back on topic, I am really, really frustrated to find out about some of my friends using FFXIAPPS. Hope they don't show face around the server, cause, boy, they are gonna get burnt!

On another note, Ive been going to different sites, and this is on every possible FFXI site already lol. But anyways, some ppl have been posting that they are sending STF the url of the list of names, think another massive ban will happen? I'm hopeing so ;-;

Looks like the rate-down trolls struck already; I suppose someone's sore about being outed.

I rated everyone back up.

They won't ban based solely on third-party evidence. They might be inclined to start observing the names listed, but those busted would also hopefully have the smarts to stop using it with that in mind.

In a way, it's still a victory since the botting would stop, but I can also understand wanting people to get what they have coming to them.
