The lootable items that happen to be on a particular corpse are sometimes referred to as drops. This is mostly of concern when talking about bosses and other creatures with specific loot tables, or when looking for a quantity of an item for a quest or for tradeskilling.

We got some good drops tonight in UBRS. Did General Drakkisath drop the druid robe again?
