The Bodos are shamanistic in the extreme, almost nationally shamanistic. Each village worships one specific elemental manifestation to the literal exclusion of the others. A war is currently raging between the Luzan tribe (Wind) and the Eduth tribe (Earth). Shaman Tibabus of the Haz tribe (Water) has been trying to arrange peace, behind the scenes as it were. The Rufa (Fire) are not directly involved in the current conflict but they still do not like outsiders.

While easily mistaken at a distance for Goblins, they are not. Goblins were created from the elements of Earth and Fire, while Bodo are creatures of Water.
