I have been playing PC games forever and a day. I've been devoured by more grues than I can count and have invoked the sacred PLUGH on many an occasion. From TRS-80 Color Computers to my little Alienware m11, it's been a wild ride. I started off in MMO's in an odd way - a Tamagotchi. From there, I started looking at "virtual pets". It led me to Neopets (of all places!) and then I discovered Ragnarok. But that STILL wasn't quite "it" for me. Then, a high school friend told me about this great online game called "EverQuest". I rushed down to my local GameStop and picked up this boxed set for "EverQuest II". I asked the guy behind the counter if this was EverQuest with all the expansions. He said "yup" (well, of course, it wasn't). By the time my friend and I sorted out that I was in a completely different reality, never mind server, I had been captivated. It was nighttime on the Isle of Refuge and suddenly, the statue of Queen Antonia spoke, promising a better life in Qeynos. Looking up at the night sky, the shattered moon... I'd come home.
