To celebrate the live launch of World of Contenders, Age of Wushu's recent major update, Snail Games and ZAM have teamed up to give away a bunch of cool items!

Snail Games has released an major update, known as World of Contenders, for its martial arts MMORPG Age of Wushu. The new content update introduces several new features and a series of events.

Snail Games announced the launch of the next major update of Age of Wushu, called World of Contenders, in February 2014. What's new?

• Fourth Internal Skill Unlocked: Those new skills will bring a new tier of growth for your character. You can cultivate up to level 36 from your own school, but if you are learning those from other schools, you will be restricted to a maximum of 30.
• Dragon and Tiger Tournament: Duel for awards in a ring of arenas! Duels will be One-on-One.  In order to ensure a fair contest, Ancient Manuals, Helianthus Codex, Star Vortex and Hidden Weapon Skills are all prohibited.
• Treasure Assassin: Cultivators practicing Peerless Skills will face a horde of assassins in search of an handsome reward.
• School Lessons: Large-scale School lessons will be held three times a day by Grandmasters and Sifus and will provide an easy way to increase Cultivation Points.

Maintaining eternal loyalty to a school is not the true way of the Jianghu, and a more realistic approach of the conflicts within Age of Wushu will be constructed with the launch of a school betrayal system.

Six emerging sects will launch and players will be able to join them through three methods: Betrayal, Excursion or Incognito. Betrayal is quick with heavy repercussions, while the quest for incognito will be long and costly.

We're less than a week away from the Age of Wushu expansion Ultimate Scrolls. Along with a whole host of gameplay changes, Snail USA is incorporating the long-anticipated Marriage System! Although not for everyone, it's a nice addition for those who dive deeper into the RP part of RPGs.

Snail Games is unloading their next major content patch for Age of Wushu, named Ultimate Scrolls, and it looks to bring a slew of former players back to its ranks with new PvP, new gear, eight "forbidden" instances, and yes, even a marriage system if your heart desires to be wed in-game.

to see if a member of that sect is worth obtaining the Ultimate Scroll."

Prepare to tread Forbidden Grounds and prove yourself. Snail Games USA has announced eight unique "Forbidden Instances" for Age of Wushu as an ultimate test of your character's strengths & abilities. Each Forbidden Instance is specifically tailored around one of the game's eight schools, meant to "reflect the soul" of their teachings.

Starting this Wednesday, Snail USA will be bringing back one of Age of Wushu's earliest world events to all servers. From September 18th through the 29th, players will be able to participate in the Prayer Event and try their luck at winning prizes, from pills to crafting materials and workbenches. Those are the starting reward though. For the luckiest martial artists in Jianghu, one treasure stands above all others: the Victorious Staff martial arts book.

It’s barely been four months since we took our first look at Age of Wushu, and Snail Games is already back with its first expansion. Launching today, Legends of Mount Hua includes a server-wide PvP competition and massive 80-player battle arena. PvE players will have a new story to journey through, and an 18-player dungeon with three different story modes.
