ArcheAge is the antithesis of limited--in a world plagued by too much choice, can a game offering the same truly be successful? Trion Worlds CEO Scott Hartsman took some time out of his busy schedule to talk about ArcheAge's first upcoming Closed Beta session and what makes the game so incredibly different.
The season of sun and fun has made its way back to RIFT! Summerfest kicked off on July 3rd, and through the 23rd all players can enjoy the returning Scavenger Hunt quests, new companions and items, a new zone event and dimension, and more!
ArcheAge, a sandbox MMO brought to you by Trion Worlds and XL Games, will be officially released when Patch 1.2 launches. While no release date other than noting it will be in 2014 has been announced, the game recently updated to Patch 1.0, so it is progressing steadily toward its goal. On the official forums, Community Manager Scapes shared this information:
Earlier today, Trion Worlds revealed RIFT's second expansion, titled Nightmare Tide. Slated to release later in 2014, players will be able to adventure beyond Telara and enter the Plane of Water itself. New story quests, five addition levels (taking the cap to 65), more artifacts to collect, new inventory slots and more will be waiting in these abyssal depths.
Trion Worlds has announced that Defiance is now officially Free-to-Play on the PC! Xbox 360 and PlayStation 3 should launch F2P on July 15th.
The latest RIFT update is on the horizon and with it comes a plethora of additional features and changes worthy of any Ascended of Telara. On May 7th, prepare to enter RIFT Update 2.7: Binding of Blood.
