The Star Wars Galaxies Facebook page has surpassed 10,000 fans, and Sony Online Entertainment is celebrating the milestone by giving all active accounts in good standing a Yoda Bobble Head in-game house decoration.

In honor of President's Day, Sony Online Entertainment is hosting special events in many of its games throughout the weekend. We've covered most of these events in separate posts, but here's a handy list of all the festivities, including bonus experience and item sales!

Sony Online Entertainment has announced that it will be hosting a Bonus Everything Weekend in Star Wars Galaxies from Thursday, Feb. 17 at 4:00 a.m. PST to Tuesday, February 22 at 4:00 a.m. More details will be posted on the game's official site tomorrow to coincide with the launch of the event.

In addition, players can chat live with the Star Wars Galaxies developers tomorrow, Feb. 17, at 4 p.m. PST on Stickam. The team will be talking about the Ewok Festival of Love, Veteran Rewards, the Bonus Everything Weekend, and will be giving a few hints about what's coming up next. The webcast is expected to last 20 minutes

Love is in the air, and what says 'I love you' more than Ewoks? The Ewok Festival of Love is returning to Star Wars Galaxies again this year. A full preview of the event has been posted, and fans are in luck. This year's event goes from Februay 10 to March 10, plenty of time to spread the love by participating in the festivities.

The Star Wars Galaxies Community Events Pow-Wow chat session has come to a close. During the chat community members were invited to share ideas about events run by the SOE Community Team and ways to help support player-run events.

A full recap of the items discussed has been posted. While the team isn't able to say yes or no to any of the requests and ideas, they do plan to evaluate each point and hope to make a few changes and incorporate new additions to help revitalize events in the game.

SOE has released a full list of all the enhancements made to the Officer profession in Star Wars Galaxies. Hotfix 19.5 brought with it a major overhaul to the Officer including a free expertise reset. Enhancements have also been made concerning supply drop abilities, expertise, reinforcement, and the Dead Eye set.

If you're interested in Star Wars Galaxies in-game events, you may want to clear your schedule and participate in the upcoming Community Events Pow-wow chat session. Community Relations Manager Zatozia will be hosting the session on the Test Center server on Friday, Jan. 28 from 4-6 p.m. PST.

The discussion will focus on improving events run by Community Team and player-run events. No badges will be given out at the session, but SOE hopes that it will be a productive meeting. Check out the announcement for more details.

The latest Star Wars Galaxies Producer's Note is covering a wide variety of topics leading into the new year. While players upped the ante during the holiday season to make the first Galactic Civil War a huge success, Producer Tony "Teesquared" Tyson is looking toward GCW2. With high goals ahead and new GCW content, the second world war is looking to be just as epic as the first.
