Archeology scroll drop rate increase?Follow

Not sure if it's due to my guild having the bountiful bag advantage or a change I missed in a set of patch notes but I swear I've been getting a higher drop rate on the scrolls, tablets and other bonus items that give you the 12 free fragments for Arch.

For example, I've actually gotten 2 NE scrolls at times and while the last time I did a major arch run pre-patch I'd usually average high single digits with them, now my supply has stayed in the teens and that's with me using them every chance I get.

I used to count myself lucky to have even one Tol Var tablet and now I'm maintaining a solid mid-single digit inventory.

Anyone else seeing this or am I simply on a lucky streak (or maybe was just previously on an unlucky one)?

Not trying to be a **** or anything, but you seriously make a thread like this on every major patch. Just accept that sometimes you get runs of good or bad luck.

It is from the Bountiful Bags perk. And if you had taken the time to look up that perk on Wowhead instead of posting here, you would have know it's not just you. It is awesome though, I've gotten 4 keystones at once before.

Yup, every major patch, oh wait, there aren't any threads like this from me every major patch, guess you are just being a ****.

First thing I checked - nice to know it contributes though.

Well, if you want to be an asshole about it, fine, we can go down this road.

And let's not forget this little, utterly moronic gem, where you thought that +herbalism was somehow going to help your archaeology.

This is just the first two pages. We can go further back, if you want. This trend continued through most of Wrath, so it wouldn't be hard to find more examples of you being a moron and yelling about things before bothering to look them up. Or you can keep insisting that you aren't actually this incredibly superstitious person who has no idea how probability and pseudorandom numbers work, so that every peak and valley MUST BE BECAUSE THEY PATCHED SOMETHING!!!!

You conveniently cut off the "on Wowhead" part of my comment. I'm well aware the tooltip doesn't say anything about archaeology, but when I noticed that I was getting a lot more keystones I did what I always do and looked on Wowhead. There are enough comments on the Bountiful Bags page to confirm that is affecting archaeology as well.
