How often do you re-post stuff?Follow

I'm simply way too lazy to sit there and repost stuff again. I've seem to have lost the add ons I used for posting massive amounts of stuff, used to use quick auctions, then it turned into apm or something, and then it turned into something else so I just gave up.

I don't really play the auction house enough to really bother.

Depends on what I expect the market to be. Something like enchanting mats, I'm probably not the lowest, anyway. Cut gems should sell over the course of 48 hours anyway, and I don't lose much if they don't. A high-ticket item like a crafted/world drop BoE will probably only sell one, so there's an incentive to relist as long as the undercut isn't too deep (just not right away - if he's watching, he's going to relist again immediately, but if he's more casual than me he might be gone in an hour).

I copypaste stuff all the time, it gets me +1's!

And I just post stuff and check my mialbox a day or two later to see if it has sold or not, way too much effort to repost and ****.

It depends.

I usually don't pay attention to auctions once they're posted so I'm not inclined to notice if I get undercut.

The exception being when I'm taking advantage of one of the holiday metas or if I've found something hot.

For example, the blank scrolls that you put inscriptions on were added to the inventory of the inscription mat vendors back before Cata but no one apparently noticed so I'd buy them by the bag full and post them on the AH - was "dumping" them for 100g a stack for a while until some other peeps got into the market (they never matched my quantities so I suspect the poor bastards were making them with inscription).

Even when the market finally crashed down to 20g a stack it was still well worth it and I still checked several times a day, but rather then re-posting, I was simply tossing up 10 at a time so I'd just toss up ten more at the lower price (this is what made me suspect the competition was making theirs as they were re-posting).

I had some amazing AH success the past couple days I was just looking to clear up some long collected gear that I can't really use since I only have one character slot ... semi available, just have to get a friend to log on to hand them the guild that the current place-holding character owns, kill the character off and recreate to something I'll actually play... hmm maybe actually try shaman... anyway, dumping this gear I went from 5 gold on this character to 300 gold and still have half the auctions to go... people were paying 30 gold for some lower level (15-30ish) good stats gear, even shoulders and chest were selling which confused me as I thought BoA were king now for those slots.

Anyway, just makes my life easier as a gold transfer between characters is a single mail with the gold attached less postage cost, while having to mail all the gear that was being held in their personal bank is a much bigger process so I'm glad to see it go, for insane money, 35 gold for a stack of linen, 40 gold for a stack of wool... I hate my server when I am looking to buy gear but since I've always held onto useful stat bearing gear of armor types I'll use I haven't actually had to buy much if anything.

Also when I actually need different cloth types I just get a high character to go solo the appropriate dungeon and gather the cloth drops... ore or herbs? same send in a high level to grab what you need and get back to work.
